The whole Garg family gets an A+. Usually these kinds of discussions in any family would end up in tears and accusations. That you were able to do that in good humor is a great accomplishment! Cheers!
Would be nice if he stopped making fun of his sister on her nerdy statistics. She is brilliant, and he would do well to respect women and let them shine
The thing about sleepovers is SO true in India. As a daughter, my parents would only let me have friends come to our house, but there were no such rules for my brother. I was annoyed about this in college, but honestly as I got to my late 20’s and now early 30’s and have nieces and nephews, I am really starting to get it lol! They’re tiny beautiful awesome humans that need to be protected at all costs!! 💕 In hindsight, I would be at least as protective of a boy. The perceived dangers aren’t significantly less for boys.
"No One ever did anything good in privacy!"...LOL I love you so much Zarna, you and my late father could be brother and sister! A+ + for always having Zarna's back and knowing when to inter and distance in the kids' lives.
Once they will become parent they will realize how much efforts she has put to keep them safe and protected, including breaking their hearts to keep them safe and sound, its not easy!!
Seriously that is a mom who cares and knows that things happen in other people's homes that would shock you so yes you need to sweep the home where your child is spending the night because monitoring levels are different in every household. Some parents are surprisingly lenient with their children.😮
We all have to learn how to manage fears and still be able to go out and explore the wonderful world. We can ask ourselves "is this reasonable?" and "Have I taken appropriate precautions?" The oldest child often has a hard time bc they are the icebreaker for the family! Love to all of you!
A+ to Zarna for being the best mom ever.❤ in fact, all you guys are so special and I think that is because of your mom's efforts. So kudos to you all for being good children and not carrying resentment and anger.
I totally agree about the sleepovers!!!!!…my grandchildren are very young, but, my sons and DILs’ already say they will never let their children to sleep at anyone’s home!!…
Absolutely agree with Zarna about the sleepovers for Zoya! Kids don’t understand these things until they become parents and how mental some people are!
I am beginning to LOVE the Garg family and, most specially, Zarna. Zarna, you’re dealing with the situation like the lawyer that you are. A trickster and a fun one. A Mother-master-manipulator. But behind all the tricks that you play with your family (and us, your audience), a very loving Mother.
OMG Zarna you were awesome on Jimmy Fallon!!! We need another full special. Netflix I'm lookin at you!!! Anywho I think Zoya and Brijj get an A++++++++++++++++
This family makes mw so happy. I've started watching these podcasts every night before i sleep. It brings so much joy and happiness ❤🎉❤Love all of them 💓
the way when shalabh said, "can you not bring my mother into this" and then the kids messaged each other; bruh hard relate cause i am 18 and this is exactly what me and my brother do, bruh hard relate fr, love yall esp brij
My A+ to Zarna garg for being loving and responsbile mother to which the kids referred as anxiety issues, separation issues etc., I disqualified kids (Zoya 1st and Brij 2nd) for this episode. For the dad, i am giving outstanding grade for being notorious as always. I look forward to see an episode in which i can give A grade everyone. I genuinely wish i had a parent like Zarna.
A grade to the entire terrific family for brilliantly defending yourselves while recognizing qualities in each other. It's so fun - I never know what you are going to say.
As an immigrant mom myself , having kids of the same age and having had boat loads of friends from all walks of life during my growing period shaped me as a person immensely and has taught me about who I want to be , what I don’t want to be or not be and the acceptance of complexities of human behavior . I can write an essay about it but will say this, if the mindset of a kid is to prosper, everything is a lesson!
Hi Zarna, I totally agree with you. The kids dont understand that if they make a mistake we will be dragged down together with them. As a single mother, I have a tough time also telling the same advice to my son. They tend to compare their life's with us. At the end of the day, I just realized they are not grateful at all.
Friendships bring out different aspects of our personalities and enrich our lives in so many ways. The good thing about raising kids with good values is that as they go out into the world, they can be trusted to choose friends wisely and that is part of becoming an adult
I agree with Zoya. Infact, I regularly spend more than 80% of my time alone without feeling loneliness. Over that, being around people usually drains me and spending me time not just recharges me but it also is the source of creative manifestation for my life.
I'm with Zarna.. My daughter isn't allowed to have any sleepovers either.. I dont even trust other people's parents. You never know what people are up to... They might have a creepy uncle or friend...We are saving u from a possible lifetime of therapy.....❤❤
Zoya is awesome for knowing the 25% statistic lol!! I knew it too and I love being alone! Super introvert 😁 Zoya gets my A+! You go, girl!! You’re awesome!! 👏🏾👏🏾💕💕
I have a blended culture family also We base our lives on the best and most effective aspects of our culture. It is challenging and requires knowing when to bend a d when not to bend. It changes by the ages and personalities of each child. It requires letting go when their autonomy becomes necessary for their growth. I loved this episode.❤
A+ for the protective mom. They’ll realize some day. A+ for unwavering support from Shalabh. I think all said and done those words came from his heart. A+ for asking timely questions Bhrij A+ - Veer for his honesty and innocence
I can understand where Zarna is coming from as my daughter is a teenager growing up in western country....but parents need to trust their children specially I can see Zarna and Brij seems to be responsible enough tk be trusted . 😊
Zoya is absolutely RIGHT. Human beings are capable of spending 75% of their time alone. It actually enriches and enhances the life of human beings who could do that.
My A to both parents, especially regarding the topic of sleepovers. I totally understand them. Kids, your parents are right. You'll know it when you guys grow a bit older
I love the way shalabh responds positively to the entire conversation in the family. He is unwaveringly supportive. Zarna aunty is blessed to have a husband like you 🙌 just the fact ❤❤ also about the kids seeking privacy zarna aunty is right when she says no to it. Zoya, brij , veer trust me, the world around is not a good place in today's time. This privacy might lead to you guys having one bad situation which you might not have foreseen which may make things worse. Rightly as shalabh has mentioned "one mistake could destroy your whole life. It's not worth it." You kids might have not yet had a bad experience so far in life and I hope you guys never will. 🙏🙏❤❤
Funny story about the math worksheet, I caught my son looking at the answers yesterday 😂😂😂😂 good convo. The parents get A+ for allowing the kids to speak so freely
I love you gals and guys. I am in agreement with your parents. However, I understand that kids these days don't view the many levels of safety as we parents do. We were once unconcerned like them but as we matured our priorities and views changed. One day the kids will mature and thank you both for all that you have instilled in them. Friends are good if they encourage you to be your best self and vice versa. Kids need to socialize and learn to exist amongst their peers. Unfortunately, kids have to learn some of life's hard lessons to appreciate the guidance they get from their parents. Keep up the good work Zarna gang!
A+ to Zoya, she was the one with least of the privilegedes, with least of the liberty, n way too much control, but still the way thinks about her mother, when she said Zarna must relax n have fun and not constantly think n worry bout her family has really got to me...
Zoya and her stats!! 😃 But jokes apart I do agree, its really important who you are friends with.. like what kind of ppl.. coz it does have an effect on us voluntarily or involuntarily. We tend to pick up stuff and it becomes part of our personality in one way or another. And given the world we are in today and people are quite good at covering their actual self behind their social media profiles, you should really "know" the person before actually trusting someone to be a friend. And yes.. Veer does sound like the one with most clarity for his age.. my A+ goes to him
A grade is ALWAYS to you Zarna, no questions about it👍🏼 😅 Thanks for bringing up the relevant and hard conversations in the most fun way which we don’t talk about otherwise in Indian community 💕
Can this family podcast be for a bit longer,I think 30mins is not sufficient to cover such complex topics and also give sufficient time to each person to share thier opinion and ask tangential qns for the discussion
A+ to uncle shalabh for supporting zarna in her career and for creating such an independent and empowered daughter like Zoya. This is what a true masculine man looks like in 21st century.
The top grade goes to Zarna- if shalabh is relaxed, credit goes to the mamma.. n I know Zoya too shall grow upto be one careful vigilant mom .. Zarna, the kids will give u the grade when they embrace parenthood ., till then u do U .. for we know what one lapse can lead to .. the kids r lucky to have u - hey kids show her the love
Sleepovers...Auntie Z, I'm so on that page with you! My son's 20+ now and we didn't allow those either. No regrets. (Just found your podcast today, I love it!)
A+ to Shalabh for his unwavering love and support for zarna.
Fell right into Shalabh’s trap as he planned 🙃
@@suby7462 Yep, I know how we, dads, can manipulate 😂
Brij is exceptionally brilliant. I love how he expresses himself..
The whole Garg family gets an A+. Usually these kinds of discussions in any family would end up in tears and accusations. That you were able to do that in good humor is a great accomplishment! Cheers!
That's what happens whenever I discuss anything with my parents.. literally every time
I give my A+ to Brij…he brought so much to the conversation, and really stood by his siblings with their feelings!..,👏👏💜💜
Would be nice if he stopped making fun of his sister on her nerdy statistics. She is brilliant, and he would do well to respect women and let them shine
@@dsrg01 she is her sister, don't you make fun of your sister😂😂
Love how the kids make fun of mom (in a good way). It's heartwarming and very relatable.
The thing about sleepovers is SO true in India. As a daughter, my parents would only let me have friends come to our house, but there were no such rules for my brother. In hindsight, I would be at least as protective of a boy. The perceived dangers aren’t significantly less for boys.
I love how dramatic Zarna is... And how beautifully her family handles her 😂😂
Zoya gets the A+ She is always so insightful and full of wisdom…an old Soul , very Wise , love the whole family though.
Kids,be thankful you have 2 parents that want the best for you and love you.
Totally agree
A+ to Zoya for standing her ground and being an angel of a daughter :)) keep being you 💕
These kids are so beautiful.. love how they have each other's backs..
"No One ever did anything good in privacy!"...LOL I love you so much Zarna, you and my late father could be brother and sister!
A+ + for always having Zarna's back and knowing when to inter and distance in the kids' lives.

I love when she says this is emotional manipulation and these kids fall for it every time. 😊
A+ to Zarna and Shalabh. It all takes one crime to destroy entire life. How to make well protected kids to understand that?
I give this family an A+. I totally agree with Zarna no sleepover allowed!
Absolutely agree with Zarna about the sleepovers for Zoya! Kids don’t understand these things until they become parents and how mental some people are!
this family is one of the realest ive ever seen, god bless y’all love u❤

I totally second you. Also for standing up for Veer. And Zarna all I can sometimes feel is gratitude that you ain’t my mom. 😂😂😂😂
A+ to the entire Garg family😂
This family makes mw so happy. I've started watching these podcasts every night before i sleep. It brings so much joy and happiness ❤🎉❤Love all of them 💓
Zarna gets an A+ for being a caring mom and also giving logical reasons for why she does what she does.
the way when shalabh said, "can you not bring my mother into this" and then the kids messaged each other; bruh hard relate cause i am 18 and this is exactly what me and my brother do, bruh hard relate fr, love yall esp brij

Zarna you are a perfect mother. Love to you. I'm much younger but I look upto you to raise kids and being a mother 😊 love to this family and kids❤
A grade to the entire terrific family for brilliantly defending yourselves while recognizing qualities in each other. It's so fun - I never know what you are going to say.
Hey kids I know most of this is in humour but like I tell my son - be grateful u have parents who care so deeply. ❤
Sleep overs are scary for all parents including for boys. Totally get this paranoia. We allowed our son only if we know the family 100%.
As an immigrant mom myself , having kids of the same age and having had boat loads of friends from all walks of life during my growing period shaped me as a person immensely and has taught me about who I want to be , what I don’t want to be or not be and the acceptance of complexities of human behavior . I absolutely LOVE this entire family!!!!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜😂😂😂😂😂
This family makes me soo happy!!! Thank y’all
I Agree 1000%with Zaria. I NEVER allowed my children:son or daughter to have any Sleep over..PERIOD
Love the bond between the kids - full marks to the parents.
A+ for Zoya, because of her good mindset and valid points
All you three kids are just super fun . Sending you guys a lot of love ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
I agree with Zoya. Infact, I regularly spend more than 80% of my time alone without feeling loneliness.
Over that, being around people usually drains me and spending me time not just recharges me but it also is the source of creative manifestation for my life.
No wonder Zoya got into Stanford! She spends only one hour with friends!! I wish my kid would do that !
I can vouch for zarna responding to everyone…. Also, I love how neutral the kids are when the mother in law in mentioned….
All of you get an A+ in my book for your honesty and candor to discuss all topics, this is not an easy feat 😊🙌🙌🙌🙌
I'm with Zarna.. My daughter isn't allowed to have any sleepovers either.. I dont even trust other people's parents. You never know what people are up to... They might have a creepy uncle or friend...We are saving u from a possible lifetime of therapy.....❤❤
I am obsessed with this family. Love you'll.❤
I am just so into this podcast.. an A+ to all of you for making me smile in the middle of the day
Aunty Z gets the A++! My mum would also monitor my friends!! But now as an adult, I fully understand why 😁
Can’t wait to see an episode with your MIL!
Veer gets an A+ because he is a good boy!
Love your podcasts!

A+ for asking timely questions Bhrij
A+ - Veer for his honesty and innocence
A+ to Zarna for being so protective of her children while having to deal with the stress of their rebellion!
Your family is respectfully hilarious. I give all of you an A grade. Especially your daughter. Haha
Make more podcasts! I lovee Zoya, she is so smart and ties up the conversation together so perfectly.
I love the way shalabh responds positively to the entire conversation in the family. He is unwaveringly supportive. The mother is the genuine trustworthy friend a child can have.
I give my A+ for all of you, absolutely awesome 👍
This podcast provides all of us viewers an opportunity to forget about our problems for few minutes and have a good laugh.
These children are very insightful!
I agree with you Zarna about sleepovers. It scared me 😢 I have 2 girls. Now aged 20 and 24, it was a real struggle.
Funny story about the math worksheet, I caught my son looking at the answers yesterday 😂😂😂😂 good convo.
The parents get A+ for allowing the kids to speak so freely
Sleepover is dangerous guys plz understand ur parents are correct...and they just love u n want u to be safe
We r Iranian family living in NJ. YT suggested your videos. And now we have fallen in love with ur family. So that's that in 21st century
Zarna gets an A+ for being a wonderful mother❤
I love you gals and guys. I am in agreement with your parents. However, I understand that kids these days don't view the many levels of safety as we parents do. I agree with Zarna on this point 😂😂😂. Beautiful family.
A+ to the whole family always ❤❤

Thanks for bringing up the relevant and hard conversations in the most fun way which we don’t talk about otherwise in Indian community 💕
All family is getting my A+++ you are all so funny and real.. ❤❤❤
The A+ argument at the end is soooo hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂😂

A+ to uncle shalabh for supporting zarna in her career and for creating such an independent and empowered daughter like Zoya. This is what a true masculine man looks like in 21st century.
I agree with Zarna and Shalabh on the sleepover thing even though I am 20 .
I do too! Sleepovers need to be vetted by parents.
You have the right recipe for your children wellbeing 🎉🎉🎉A+ Zarna❤
A+ to both the parents for working so hard for the kids
NO SLEEPOVER WHATSOEVER! I agree with them
Great family! I enjoy these so much. 😂😂❤❤
This is so interesting when youve been on both sides! Lol i totally get everyones perspective here😅
I think zarna was right abt girls sleepover coz I heard abt girls getting raped or Sexually assaulted in other's houses
I love this conversation. Zoya is right about friends

No regrets.

A plus to all kids!
This should be on netflix
A+++ for both parents ❤
