I know it was different times BUT, it blows my mind that today people still see their relationship as a good one or romantic. It was abusive and by no means anyone should ever seek something like this. With all the respect to Priscilla and Elvis, they were both young and naive.

According to her book, which I recently referred back to, she moved to Memphis in '62 to live with Vernon and wife. Gradually moved her clothes over to Graceland. She was 17 in '62. There's other interviews with her saying she moved there much earlier. NOT according to her book. In fact, Elvis left not long after he met her in Germany and returned to films in Hollywood.

I don't think you realize how young she was when she first met Elvis. She was barely a teenager, not to mention she was far from her friends and place she knew and loved and thrown into another country because of her father. She never had her own life, never was able to move on her own and was always following someone to feel less lonely. She wasn't able to truly figure out who she was, the only thing she knew was Elvis - so why would someone stray from something they thought was safe? She couldn't have left him, because she didn't know how to live without anyone due to being thrown into the whirlpool and hectic life of Elvis.
Elvis was blackmailed by her dad to marry her. Why cant she tell the truth.
‘Cause her image and herself would be in serious trouble. If the whole world knew she was part of an extortion, which is a very serious crime, since it happened almost half a century ago then she would be safe from the law but her image will not.

Days after Lisa Marie's death she files a lawsuit against Riley to protect her financial interests and only 2 weeks after Lisa's death she tweets that she has HAD a difficult time. Precilla was an army brat and threw tantrums until her parents let her go to Memphis. I think it was all about the money for them. Why else would parents let a fourteen year old go live with an adult man in another country. Precilla knew that Elvis could get her anything and her parents saw dollar signs. I am not going to get into the personal side of this cause there is no personal side. It's her side of the story since Elvis isn't here to tell his side. It's all been told a hundred times by her. Just because Elvis names Vernon in his will as executor of the estate doesn’t mean he opened Graceland. He died in 1979 before Graceland was opened to the public. Vernon’s will passed the responsibility of the estate to Priscilla, the Family Accountant & The National Bank of Commerce in Memphis.
