The Gold Glitch 3.0 people. The door glitch. The solo gold glitch. Whatever you want to call it, this right here is one of the hype new glitches to know about in GTA Online's latest update. This makes the Cayo Perico Heist a breeze. I literally haven't even bothered to go anywhere else on the island except the compound during the heist since discovering this.
One of the most common questions I get in the comments of my videos is whether this glitch has been patched or not. There was some big game patch recently that fixed some other stuff (like the CEO helicopter on Cayo Perico glitch). But the gold glitch 3.0 right here still works just fine as of 3/7/21. It might be like the Casino gold glitch 2.0 where they don't fix it until the summer if they haven't done it yet
This right here is a little complex at first. But patience and practice folks. Uou too will be able to do this if you follow along with the video here. I'll put a timestamp for each of the doors for anyone who just wants the info and not my colorful commentary.
Keep in mind that this will probably be patched at some point in the future. Maybe during the Summer DLC Update. But it also may never be patched because we're talking like an extra 50K per heist here. I don't think Rockstar really gives a shit. Definitely don't think anyone is getting banned over this.

In a previous video I mentioned that they had patched the solo method for opening the lock-up at North Dock, but last night it worked for me (there were 3 cocaine in there and the rest of the island was cursed with cash, stupid RNG). I took out the lights and CCTV so maybe that had something to do with it?? All my previous attempts post patch have failed, and this was the only thing that I did that was different?? I'm on PS4 and haven't been able to get the gold door glitch to work, but will focus on it today and report back...

@@ashxc I followed the video, but honestly it takes me quite a few attempts to get it to work. Make sure you're hitting the direction first for a moment, then aim down sights. My biggest problem was aiming down sights and hitting the direction at the same time

I believe the reason he doesn't figure out how your taking his things is because he kills his entire crew after a heist. If you listen to him during the night heists you can hear him referring to if anyone is left from his last crew that he hasn't killed to speak up.

and make sure stealth mode is OFF! fck, I spent like 20 minutes trying this and could not do it, then I realized the guy was tiptoeing in fcking STEALTH MODE! Don't be like Adam and be smart. You're welcome.
Also get a fcking controller if you don't have one already, much easier.

I dont know how you do it but my caracter moves almost 5 meters away from the door and yours aims in the door

If you’re having trouble with the analog stick don’t move it one time to the left flick it really fast twice while on your second flick press L2 it’s way more consistent

I tried it and it doesn't work for me. Its the 15th of March 21. I think its patched.
It works, it just takes a little time to do so. But if you take too long it gets harder to do. So you'll have to test your patience.

I get all 3 doors in 1 to 3 tries. Once you get it down its very easy. The camera angle is simple. The issue is the timing of the flip then aim

I just wanted to let you know that your video was the one that really helped me. For me personally, I literally reverse the trick on door 1 when I access door 3. It works. Maybe you can try, make a video about how much simpler it is if you just have one trick in my mind and EXACTLY reverse it for door 2/3. Please do try.

They don't punish players for playing the game how it happens. Now if its a modders glitch thats game breaking like the casino chip glitch that went on. Yes all those complex glitches are modded in. The modder makes them like that so its hard to patch. They have to find the code causing it. Now With this door deal its a legit bug and if they really wanted to fix it they could make it so the alarm goes off without the cards or a few others. Same with the replay trick. Its a bug. Someone can legit lose connection at any time. Years ago it took them like 6 months or more to care about the pacific standard replay and no one got in trouble. So the replay on this heist will be the same. Just enjoy the bugs while they last. 😎

For me it’s the exact opposite, the door closest to the office is the easiest one for me and it takes me some time with the one near the cliffs. I noticed you used a different camera angle there, I will try it out - see if it’s easier.

I don't know if your videos are altered somehow or your game is hacked, but I've followed your every direction to a fucking tee for months now, several dozens of tries, and this has not worked for me one. Fucking. Time. Or Rockstar patched it, but I've been attempting this since the gold glitch was new. Never anything. I'm pissed.

I stand in the right spot, line my head with the correct crack in the door, use the right pistol, face the right way, angle the camera at the correct angle, everything. No luck.
