Well done! As to Mr. Ruth's lasting significance to the game of Baseball, there are still Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball Leagues for kids nearly 76 YEARS after his death. To me, Babe Ruth, along with Jackie Robinson and, later, Hank Aaron, helped MLB immeasurably through some difficult years, from the depression through bteaking the color barrier, through Hank's breaking Ruth's HR Record.

That's amazing that they still have Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball Leagues. I think I knew of Babe Ruth before I understood what baseball was. hahaha. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. :)

I loved the Babe, as so many people did. No I am not old enough to have seen him play. But I loved the fact Babe had the home run record for so many years. For a guy that was in a reformatory at age 7, he made it to the top of his profession. That means no matter how you grew up you can still make it to the top if you but try! Even now he is my hero! Thank you Mr. Harvey Jr. and you too Brad. Hey, did you know he was one of the first 5 inaugural players into the Baseball Hall of fame!

I didn't know that he was one of the 5 inaugural players. That's very interesting. Had I known that, I certainly would've included it in the video. Thank you for the info, Steven. :)

Great video, Brad! The info about Babe's twilight in baseball was chock full of things I didn't know, especially the part about being a base coach for LA. Being an Atlantan, I followed Hank Aaron as did everyone here 😊
Thanks again. I learned a lot from the video! God bless!

I think that was for the BROOKLYN Dodgers.

Nolan Ryan, Roger Clemens, Willie Mays, Jackie Robinson are players that are possibly known by people that aren’t baseball fans.

I've heard of Nolan Ryan, Willie Mays, and Jackie Robinson, but I don't know much about them. Roger Clemens doesn't sound familiar to me. My school didn't have a baseball team and so it wasn't something I really ever thought about. :)

I don't behoove sports fans their heroes, admittedly there have been many greats in all sports, but, FOR ME, it's just a game. Had it not been for the great Vin Scully, I don't think i would have paid attention to a single game. I live in Los Angeles, so Dodger baseball is HUGE here, but, c'mon, it's a base, a bat, a ball, and a glove, hittin' it out of the park is as exciting as it gets for me! But you guys just go on watchin', keeps you outta of our hair for awhile😂😂😂😂😂😂

Hahahaha. I don't think I've ever watched a pro baseball game. I'm of the same opinion that it's just a game. I'm not into football either. :)
