@@JamesFactionMy favorite part is that he waited to deliver the punchline until he took the sip. He paused to make him feel awkward enough trying to deflect a genuine compliment that he had to take a drink, and then he laid the subversion on him. Perfection.

While I loved Trevor behind the desk (reluctantly at first), it was great to see not only former correspondents, but also the man, the myth, the legend... Jon Stewart behind the desk, roasting his TDS counterparts.

Why did you keep watching Trevor after the first five minutes? His takes were pretty much straight from MSNBC and his jokes, if you can call them that, were so obvious you could practically mouth the words as he said them.

@@ssl3546 Trevor started off ok, you misrepresent him. His tendency in the first season to kinda look a bit pleased with himself was a bit irksome. But he kept getting better throughout his run. He was a brilliant host and especially over covid and after really shone. I do wonder about the hot takes I see from people hating on him. Because he's not from America, or not white maybe? Idk. He has always been a brilliant comedian, absolutely killer. Very perceptive and insightful, not "straight from MSNBC" at all. up there with Jon for sure, especially later in his tenure.

The Daily Show was like The Dana Carvey Show in terms of pure talent that would later explode in comedy. Sure, mostly because there was a lot of crossover between the two shows, but still!
Trevor is underrated in my circle of friends. He is incredibly talented.

I appreciate that they did the Trevor Noah/Wyatt Cenac interview. I didn't know it happened, but the one where he was interviewed by Samantha Bee and Jason Jones was very uncomfortable.
I knew there was something special about Olivia. Here I was assuming she was just Lego/Chinese all these years, which on it's own would be a lovely mix too.
Wish Wyatt's HBO show was still going, it was great.

Actually, Desi did get her week of hosting, but Dulce didn’t get to finish her week and Ronny and Michael Costa still have not had a chance yet.

I love that Olivia, who was in the movie, kept saying "Legos" and Trevor stuck to Lego. As a man who loves language, you know his internal monolog was screaming, "That's not how you say it! "
Turns out "Legos" is used in the US and "Lego" is used everywhere else as the plural noun. As a man who knows several languages from different regions, Trevor probably knows that language varies by region.
Even if Legos is used in the US it’s still not accurate. The plural of LEGO is LEGO, and I came here for the sole reason to display my disgust!
