Can someone please explain why Nashville metro police and fire have gone to full encryption? Especially the fire department when they could go to a tactical channel and have that encrypted but keep main dispatch in the clear and why can’t they do that for the police department have all tactical channels encrypted will keep the main dispatch channels in the clear Does this make the officers safer by having full encryption criminals will still do when criminals do and you can’t tell me that metro police is confiscated before full encryption a bunch of scanners from criminals letting them know what the police are doing if there’s any stories about that please let me know
