I got this in my recommended randomly, and I see why people love shooting film. It's a whole ritual and a skill to master. It's like driving a stick shift as opposed to an automatic. Loved the video.
My god, I’ve never felt more nostalgic watching a video! I used to have a film camera when I was a kid and those were the exact steps I had to do to insert the film. The noises are so satisfying and bring back so many memories aaaaah…
Very helpful, i also suggest to open the back part first instead of pulling up the top thingy since mine almost broke off 😂 just open the back then you can see the connection of that top thingy then just push it up.

@@itmeansnothingg hey, my flash stopped working after a few shots, i didn’t even get to use a whole roll of film. I ended up buying a second hand film camera from online :)

i just got one this week (the green one) and i was wondering, what do you do after taking a photo? this is my first film camera and ive read some comments on yours and other videos saying to wind up or something after each pic, but i was wondering how to do this? would i use the dial thing that changes from an s to a 1 (like at 4:05) but after take a pic i would reel it from 1 to a 2, then take the next pic? and continue for every other pic? thanks so much, this video is so helpful and is what inspired me to buy it originally

Hii quick question. So for this camera, do the pictures turn out vintage-y like the regular disposable camera? Or does it have a more modern feel to it?

hi! it should tell you how many photos you have taken so far on the top right of the camera. Also you don't need to use flash on all the shots, but i def recommend using it when it's dark
yes you’ll need to get a new film! i personally like the kodak portra 400 ☺️ you may go on google to search for sample photos to see which one you like 😊
hi this tutorial is so helpful thank you so much for posting! I’ve had my kodak m35 camera for a while now, but the flash stopped working only recently. I tried changing the battery, but it still doesn’t work. Do you know if there’s any way that I can fix this? If not, would my pictures still turn out even without the flash working?
Hey, unless there's an easy fix documented somewhere, might be time to get a new camera. These things are made extremely cheaply and unfortunately the parts are not great. You might look into getting a cheap camera from the 60s or 70s. Those things are solid as heck.
Question: once you've got your first shot, then what's next? Is there anything else to do before the camera is ready for the second shot? Btw, great video! Thanks!
@@natalyestrella5235 yes, you always have to wind first before taking a shot. wind, then click! that's one photo for you. then if you want to follow it with another photo, wind and click again. it's your choice if you want to shoot with flash. you can turn it off. personally, i like my pictures with flash, so it's always on throughout the time i am using it. i just turn the flash off if I am going to rest my camera. take note that this camera does not really have a power on/off switch. no worries, because the camera does not consume much battery energy when the flash is off. other people make a mistake of winding after taking a picture, then leaving it just like that and resting the camera. don't do it because you might accidentally click the camera in ur bag or something--which means u might waste one shot of film. :) every shot is precious. always wind, then click. if you want another pic, wind again then click!
