    I'm a fan! Nice! Their preamp is something I'm looking at. Ampeg also just made a new DI that a lot of folks are raving about! Thank you for all you do!

    It has a built in noise filter. If you sit right next to it, you think it’s loud but playing live, you don’t notice it.

      What do you mean, can you elaborate? I’m looking at this and the mesa subway 350 and can’t decide

    Doses the head have to warm up on standby before it is turned on and also can the head be used with headphones without a cab? Thanks 😊

    I luvved the sound of this amp so much, Nathan East uses a Digbeth head & 2 x 12" cab...i bought 3 & they were all microphonic with various faults...thats what happens when amps sit in container ships for months...digital & sea salt don't mix...really dissapointed as Laney blamed me even though i tried 10 good bass's & 12 of my mates & the amps were faulty with ALL bass's....crazy thing is i bought the foot pedal, dropped it by accident but it works perfect..lol...shame i luv this amp but i know many were returned on the second run....shame..bet you Nathan East's was hand built in Birmingham,UK...lol....good demo Bully but sadly their QC is non existant & their manners worse.....we tried 23 bass's all in, all just made terrible microphonic noises...even a Fedora & 12 excellent Fenders...RUclipsrs get the best quality ,like Thomanns with Harley Benton, we get badly made unplayable rubbish....🎸

    Sounds good! But no master control? Enouth power for stage?
    I'm looking for a good head with a 2x12 neodyme cab, why not try that head.

    Are these made in the U.K.? Their website says Laney amplifiers are designed and engineered in the UK, and PRICED LIKE THEY ARE BUILT THERE. But are they made by someone else in another country?

      @bobbyzig3879 Год назад +3

      “Designed and Engineered” means made in china 99.9% of the time. 😂 $800 for a head is still import price range ie Ampeg as a prime example. This specific model is made over seas in Asia.

    Would you say this set up could stand alone for audiences of 100 plus?

    So can you run this just headphones and no cabinet plugged in without something blowing up?

      I’m guessing it can with the tube switch set on off. I’m not 100 percent sure though

    Sounds pretty solid! However, it seems like it has a bit of white noise coming from it?

    That thing sounds fat and punchy. I like it.
