5:20 is not cool !!!! Solver and type any thing, anything at once and you get the right answer. Ofcourse sign reversal for the first 2 terms, now on the right side of the equal sign. Math : Solver 0 = -log24/log(2) + log(3)/Log(2) + log(X)/Log(5) X = 50 bound={ 1 , 250 } cursor on X, ALPHA SOLVE = 125 Done.
when i did the first problem it just gave me a long ass number, making it so i have to manually put in each answer to see witch matches, is there a way to fix that ?
Jordi Alba the older versions of the ti84 don't have the feature available. If you have it on your calculator you will find it by clicking "Math" and then scrolling down it will say "LOGBASE"
the TI-84 is about $100. My suggestion is to check out eBay and Craigslist for used ones - I've found them for as little as $20 on local classified ads (Craigslist or LetGo)

2:57 You could also do second and click on Calc and select zero and do it for both the times or however many times you see the graph hit zero.

Yes you may use the TI-84+ calculator, you are NOT allowed to use the TI-89 calculator

i^62 = i^60 * i^2. Since i^60 has a power that's a multiple of 4, we know that i^60 = 1.

You should talk to the ACT about that. Not letting students use a calculator for the math test in the ACT is illegal.
I hope you had the ACT nullify all scores for that testing and had the examination investigated. You are supposed to use a calculator.
