Wow this helps a lot. I’ll use these tricks on a practice test first and see how it goes. I know my calculator can do a lot and it’s approved for the SAT so I want to learn it to the best of my abilities:)
2:57 You could also do second and click on Calc and select zero and do it for both the times or however many times you see the graph hit zero.

Can you use that type of calculator?
Yes you may use the TI-84+ calculator, you are NOT allowed to use the TI-89 calculator
number 13 using calc is waste of time. just multiply and add all the numbers
This is probably a stupid question, but do these programs already come preloaded into the calculator?
Everything we show here is using a stock calculator, with no added software

Solver and type any thing, anything at once and you get the right answer.
Ofcourse sign reversal for the first 2 terms, now on the right side of the equal sign.
Math : Solver
0 = -log24/log(2) + log(3)/Log(2) + log(X)/Log(5)
X = 50
bound={ 1 , 250 }
cursor on X, ALPHA SOLVE = 125
Done.

how did you know to do i^2 when the question was i^62

i^62 = i^60 * i^2. Since i^60 has a power that's a multiple of 4, we know that i^60 = 1.
I wish I could use all of these strats but I sure ain't gonna spend 300 bucks on a calculator. My non-graphic calculator will have to do.
the TI-84 is about $100. My suggestion is to check out eBay and Craigslist for used ones - I've found them for as little as $20 on local classified ads (Craigslist or LetGo)

Yes you can!
I have the ti 84 silver edition calculator but I cant find the log base option
Jordi Alba the older versions of the ti84 don't have the feature available. If you have it on your calculator you will find it by clicking "Math" and then scrolling down it will say "LOGBASE"

Amazon/eBay carry them. Most stores that sell school supplies have them too.

You should talk to the ACT about that. Not letting students use a calculator for the math test in the ACT is illegal.
I hope you had the ACT nullify all scores for that testing and had the examination investigated. You are supposed to use a calculator.
