Never judge a book by it's cover. Angela's story is a story that many young women of color live through, trying to make it ends meet. I wish that she had a community in her youth to help support her financially to go to college. However, nothing is wasted for God's glory. The peace that she has is unexplainable and that is what Christ does. I believe that her testimony is going to reach the ears of those who desperately need to hear it. I am extremely proud of her physical transformation as well. Rosemarie did an amazing job interviewing her and she still kept it real in a sisterly love vibe. What happened is she turned 30. It's not like you turn 30, and you grow up; there's something that happens spiritually, physically, and mentally that tells you to level up. It happens every decade or so. You want something different, so you do something different. You can't really pinpoint the moment, but major life events just change you in unexpected ways. I randomly met her at a club in Scottsdale, Arizona the day before she announced she was preggers with Dream. She was so friendly to me, very engaging, and so polite; oh- and very pretty! Nobody is perfect, she has struggled alot in her life, and I wish her nothing but success & happiness.

Actually, I think stripping for a living should be a source of embarrassment and shame. It shouldn't be dismissed as "I did what I had to do, do your sis". A sense of shame can keep many people from doing things that are disastrous t o them physically, spiritually, for generations. Shame needs to come back.

Her mom has constantly called her own daughter out of her name over the years. She doesn’t deserve the title Mother. She was just a vessel used to bring this being into this world.
What happened is she turned 30. It's not like you turn 30, and you grow up; there's something that happens spiritually, physically, and mentally that tells you to level up. It happens every decade or so. You want something different, so you do something different. You can't really pinpoint the moment, but major life events just change you in unexpected ways. I wish her well on her journey.

I randomly met her at a club in Scottsdale, Arizona the day before she announced she was preggers with Dream. She was so friendly to me, very engaging, and so polite; oh- and very pretty! Nobody is perfect, she has struggled alot in her life, and I wish her nothing but success & happiness.

I love Rosemarie Miller and her interview style. She's not trying to shame Angela for her past, but rather celebrate her successes and growth. I love how she highlighted her college acceptance instead of baiting Chyna to talk about her time dancing first. (Which shouldn't be a source of embarrassment in any way.) I love how the interview provides a spotlight for Angela's faith and spiritual growth. Kudos to Forbes. We're all so proud of Angela. Every step in her path got her to this point, and she is becoming an inspiration and great role model to the young girls looking up to her.
Actually, I think stripping for a living should be a source of embarrassment and shame. It shouldn't be dismissed as "I did what I had to do, do your sis". A sense of shame can keep many people from doing things that are disastrous t o them physically, spiritually, for generations. Shame needs to come back.
