I used to have a great pyrenees, it was a few years ago. We got him as a young puppy from a breeder, he was amazing, sweet and loving. His name was Bronco. Sadly(Since the breed barks a lot) our neighbors called a noise complaint and we had two weeks to find a new home for him. We met a nice lady named Bridget, she was nice and had other dogs. It was heartbreaking and yet five years later I still miss my baby Bronco… I know he is in a good home with good brothers and sisters. My family now has a doggie names Charlie who is a german shepherd and a basset mix named macie

My Great Pyr didn’t move a muscle. Odd because she barks when a leaf falls anywhere in town. She only howls when the yorkie is barking at her to give him whatever she’s toying with. 💕
Sounds like he’s imitating coyotes. Do you have them around so he hears them often? Our havanese does this = but it’s not the same from a ten pound dog! My pyr never howled, just barked low and furious sounding enough to send anyone running. Funny cause she was a snuggly love-bug.
This howl is like, the exact opposite of how my pyr howled lol It was all low and deep in her throat, and there usually wasn’t much sound, and sometimes she kinda, chewed(?) her howl. It sounded more like a long groan tbh 🤣
I remember the first and only few times our pyreenes has actually done this higher pitched howl. It was so shocking lol its always deep barks or that those low slow huff/woofs. I havent heard him do thise in about 2 years
Cute, this is my neighborhood and the sheriff and state troopers office is less than a quarter of a mile away 🙃. Not to mention coyote in the mountains. All the time.
