I would love to see these at constant 60fps. Also I wonder which of them are just the result of playing around and which do actually find application in the industrial world.
i dont know if the guy that made the video can do that but you can show then using the computer or a projector like the school i study haves the video/google room the teacher puts a projetor that goes to a projector screen and the teacher put something about the class so you can do that with this video
@@reizinhodojogo3956 yeah screens and projectors are very common. That isn’t the point though, there is a big difference between just seeing a video and having something you can hold and look at and experiment with which is what they wanted for their students.
The X-engines were actually made, just not what is commonly seen today, I can't remember precisely why they aren't used, it very well could just be preference and sticking to what were used to, but we've hesitated to use engines that were superior to the V- system before just because of strangeness
It's difficult to have a sump system on an engine like this but this sort of layout has been around for sometime used as a radial type engine in an aircraft.
Amazing video series. I have watched all your videos multiple times. They appease me. Probably because they show that it is possible to create the most complex controlled order in the world of chaos...
1:42 definitely can make some sort of engine out of this design. The center looks very similar to a crankshaft, we just need the camshaft now, or we can use something else like the FreeValve from Koenigsegg.
One suggestion would be to list possible use cases for shown mechanic.. most of them i could see use, but some are concepts, but do not seem practical. Like 2:53 and 3:03, especially 3min one which might we quite "expensive" way to achieve said reduction or gain. Other could be graph showing speed between input and output, input constant line and output some short wave.
1:50 just curious if this could be used for an internal combustion engine 🤔 Would make it more compact but there might be other hurdles in fitting such an engine 🤔
If we knew these 1000yrs ago... but still in a span of 2 decades technology has improved enormously, I'm waiting for teleportation and telepathy where tours would be in deep space
i absolutely love these videos, they give me a lot of inspiration. but i have a few questions: what program are you using? i use Blender to animate but i love this style. and if you use blender, how do you get those black edges? because when i am using just one color, it becomes hard to see where it curves.
That third to the last one, the stacked planetary gearsets.... FOR THE LOVE OG SLOB SOMEONE TAKE THAT AND DEMOSNTRATE HOW THE EFF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS CHANGE GEAR RATIO!!!! Ive read up on it left and right, I get the mechanical control side of it, but how the gears interact to change the input and output ratios is still dark voodoo magic to me......
Although some were self-explanatory to a noob like me, the applications of some of these were a bit vague. Maybe instead of annoying technomusic, a short explanation (NOT in a bot voice!) would be better?
I have absorbed the knowledge of mechanical principles part 10.
class
Gained
cap
How
no way
3:24 Oddly satisfying, and satisfyingly odd. I don't even care what it's used for, just delighted that someone dreamt it up.
The oars of a model ship, perhaps?
I would love to see these at constant 60fps.
Also I wonder which of them are just the result of playing around and which do actually find application in the industrial world.
Glad to see he's still putting out these gems
2:29
I love this one, it's like the spinning platforms from Super Mario World.
Could you please make the 3D files available for download? I would love to 3d print this to show my students.
I would like to have them to!
This is a great idea!
i dont know if the guy that made the video can do that but you can show then using the computer or a projector like the school i study haves the video/google room the teacher puts a projetor that goes to a projector screen and the teacher put something about the class so you can do that with this video
and if you were looking for a free cloud for storing and sharing drawings, 3d models ruclips.net/video/vwV-Im_xlic/видео.html
@@reizinhodojogo3956 yeah screens and projectors are very common. That isn’t the point though, there is a big difference between just seeing a video and having something you can hold and look at and experiment with which is what they wanted for their students.
Just imagine a mechanical principles theme park; it would be so cool to witness
Wonderful, I've seen old Victorian books with amazing mechanisms that have sadly been forgotten.your work is inspiring.
1:42
That's... not what they meant when they asked for a crossplane engine.
underrated comment lmao
A couple of these look like concepts for pick-and-place automata like industrial robots!
Everyone happy when a new Mechanical Priciples video comes out
love ur videos
I love all the things you can do with cams and all their variations
Hello friend very cool very good and I like such inventions!!!
Please tell me what program are you using?
1:43 Would be funny to see an acutal engine created around this concept
The X-engines were actually made, just not what is commonly seen today, I can't remember precisely why they aren't used, it very well could just be preference and sticking to what were used to, but we've hesitated to use engines that were superior to the V- system before just because of strangeness

Ain't that radial engine? Just four cylinder type style
Fantastic! Compliment ! 👏👏👏
I can’t stop exploring all the wonderful CAD mechanisms
I have absorbed, gained and blessed by divine knowledge of mechanical principles part 10.
Always gets my Pineal Vibrating. 👍🏼
2:30 I don't care what it is called, I'm calling it the Reznor gear.
WAHOOO
Amazing video series. I have watched all your videos multiple times. They appease me. Probably because they show that it is possible to create the most complex controlled order in the world of chaos...

The saga continues! Been looking forward to this installment.
Some of these are a whole other level of genius; they should be put into print for the upcoming _*insert disaster_ apocalypse. 😁
one of the best yet
Itd be nice if there were explanations but these are really nice thank you! ☆☆☆☆☆
please let me know which software you are using to create and builds these
They all look like fun puzzle spaces for Mario & Luigi to climb n jump on.
This is my first introduction to this channel and all I can say is that I'm just happy to be here.

I mean, many cordless drills use a mechanism similar to the 3:03 animation, although they're neither "tapered" nor as long.
Absolutly amazing
ur such a great hooman being! thanks for doing these things! srsly ur awesome
1:50 just curious if this could be used for an internal combustion engine 🤔
Would make it more compact but there might be other hurdles in fitting such an engine 🤔
im sure it would work but it might not be practicle
Look at the amazing Radial Engines how they worked
Great!
Could you please write what is the program where this animations work?

I'm assuming something like cell shading
@@meflea3675 I've never heard of that. But if that is it, are you able to recommend me a good tutorial?
CAD that can do kinematics (both free and cost).
Weirdly shaped gears are my favorite.
VERY beautiful, simple and intelligent
You can keep your ASMR, I’ll have my mechanical principles number 10
Nêgada, a mecânica é um bagui dukarái!
How beautiful thank you
The first two principles were definitely about windshield wipers for cars
Menambah ilmu..👍👍
Luv your vids 👍🥃
buenazo man
Por fin un hispanohablante.
Soon, with all the knowledge combined, I will be able to take over!
2:06 this looks like it could use some Euler spiral segments to keep the jerk down.
2:05 i love this
that one’s my favorite
Excellent work. Very impressive.
Very good works
Très instructif et merci encore
Can you write something about these principles in your video?#?
That can provide better understanding to us as a audience
2:53 This gear is exactly the same as S.CRAFT's data!
i think this need some indicator of the source of the rotation, cause sometimes its confusing to find where the rotation begins
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PART 100000000 THE X!!!
Theo love IS The Air!
Nice...🙂💝
it would be very nice to see which part is rotating the whole thing
Usually the blue one
thank u, very interesting
Ok i dont understand the planetary gears the smallest spins so fast but the biggest spins very slow. Is that a automatic gearbox?
3:20 also a really cool one.
ME ENCANTA LA INGENIERIA😍🔧
this is AMAZING!

bagus sekali.
membuat saya penuh dengan imjinasi
Mesmerizing. Beautiful graphics.
Nice video bro
Does someone know the name of the very first showm mechanism? This looks so cool :)
Beautiful❤
I am from Uzbekistan
I can tell that this is romantic ❤❤
Bagus bermanfaat videonya kak
What is the software used for these?
I feel like he's building up to an entire assembly line
İlginç tasarımlar
lets gooooooooooooooooooo
Amezing gear
Unique mechanical designs
it's Solid ?
Very Good
So much to do so much to see so what's wrong with taking the Lab-streets
The thumbnail one just makes me think of Reznor
Which software use to make this vedio
Please tell me
1:42 imagine an engine with that setup
what simulation software did you use for this?
2:29 So this is how they make the platforms in Mario...
Although some were self-explanatory to a noob like me, the applications of some of these were a bit vague. Maybe instead of annoying technomusic, a short explanation (NOT in a bot voice!) would be better?
Happy anniversary!
very good
i can FEEL the friction in some of these
1:58
