I would love to see these at constant 60fps.
Also I wonder which of them are just the result of playing around and which do actually find application in the industrial world.

i dont know if the guy that made the video can do that but you can show then using the computer or a projector like the school i study haves the video/google room the teacher puts a projetor that goes to a projector screen and the teacher put something about the class so you can do that with this video

@@reizinhodojogo3956 yeah screens and projectors are very common. That isn’t the point though, there is a big difference between just seeing a video and having something you can hold and look at and experiment with which is what they wanted for their students.

    • @HalfWolf2

The X-engines were actually made, just not what is commonly seen today, I can't remember precisely why they aren't used, it very well could just be preference and sticking to what were used to, but we've hesitated to use engines that were superior to the V- system before just because of strangeness

One suggestion would be to list possible use cases for shown mechanic.. most of them i could see use, but some are concepts, but do not seem practical.
Like 2:53 and 3:03, especially 3min one which might we quite "expensive" way to achieve said reduction or gain.
Other could be graph showing speed between input and output, input constant line and output some short wave.

    • @AmEv7fam

I mean, many cordless drills use a mechanism similar to the 3:03 animation, although they're neither "tapered" nor as long.

Ive read up on it left and right, I get the mechanical control side of it, but how the gears interact to change the input and output ratios is still dark voodoo magic to me......
