So it took a debate for these clowns to accept Biden ain't fit to be president. Really? That's what's mind-boggling
All this sudden "honesty" makes me wonder what's coming next.
They will use it to justify nominating someone that the public didn't vote for in the primaries. The problems are 1) Campaign funds don't transfer to someone not named Bidne or Harris - so they would have to start from scratch; money donated from the Super Pacs would be refunded and they "could" redonate to the new candidate but not guaranteed; 2) Some states required a confirmed nominee to be on the ballot BEFORE the DNC meets in August. So, to make sure they get their nominee - Biden or replacement - they have to "pledge their votes ahead of time so the plan is to do it via Zoom. Well, Biden has to release the delegates before they can vote for someone else. So he has to knowingly and intentionally state that he is withdrawing from the race and will support the new nominee (which makes him a lame duck president for the rest of the year). IF he releases his delegates, it's a lot harder to corral all of them towards a single new replacement in a short period of time when they are not all in the same room. So scheduling the DNC convention so late in the year (and in Chicago) is really coming back to bite them in the butt for multiple reasons. bc it make take MULTIPLE rounds of votes to consolidate around a particular nominee. And in the interim, the DNC/Dem Elites are likely going to be extorted by the Biden family for an enormous sum of "tax free" money and prestigious opportunities to get him to agree to step down.

Why would we want to add another limitation to who we can and can't vote for? I see people calling for competency tests for candidates as well. We don't need either of these things, that is what a campaign is for, to let us view the candidates and decide their ability to do the job. That's our choice, that is not the lawmakers in DC's choice to make. Don't ask to corrode our power away from us and into the hands of the career politicians in DC.

In my view, when you're old enough to retire, you probably should, at least when it comes to running the country. (That job drastically ages _healthy_ people!) I personally would settle for a cap of age 70, with perhaps a required competency test for anyone who is older than that.

These days everyone wants to talk about "saving democracy" but everyone seems to think that "democracy" just means getting their way. Unless you subscribe to the idea that the 2020 election was rigged, both candidates received a record number of votes. You know, those "ridiculous" choices... both got more votes than anyone in history. But Biden's popularity has dropped off wildly, and his cognitive skills have as well. So the democrats want to attach the stink of Joe Biden onto Trump as well. Trump's numbers keep going up as Joe's goes down. And Trump shows no sign of cognitive decline, unlike Biden.
To summarize, you are attempting to use completely illogical logic in order to limit who everyone else gets to vote for based on your own personal opinion. That's a wee bit narcissistic.
