You can also shoot 45 colt +p ,which essentially turns the gun into a 44mag with similar recoil as well
Buffalo Bore makes it, I haven't had the chance to get any at this time

@@edbank4970 You can also shoot .45 Colt and .454 Casull, that makes it so much more fun to shoot, while being VERY Effective!!
Love multi caliber options, in a lapse of judgment I got rid of a Ruger Blackhawk with the Phillips and rogers medusa cylinder, it was great dumping a pocket of mixed at the range and seeing the looks
I love the fact that you can use more manageable ammo on this revolver, truthfully, the .460 is a vicious round!!

I wouldn't use this gun in .460 unless you could practice enough with it to be EXTREMELY proficient with it, but with this recoil, I wouldn't want to shoot it enough to become proficient with it!! You can use this for home defense, when the bad guy is hiding behind a refrigerator.... On your neighbors house...
I had a conversation with Taurus tech support today. They advise not shooting any other caliber other than 460.

The Casul will deal with anything on the American continent. Including Grizzly Bears & Buffalo. It was after all developed to deal with Cape Buffalo at close range.

I dont think its long enough which is unfortunate bc that would be truly amazing versatility. Its already got a leg up on others. It would be the perfect revolver if it could imo.

@@markhadley1545 .460SW is ~2.3" depending on load. 2.5 inch .410 open up to ~2.8 after firing do they not?
The length is the limiting factor, which is unfortunate bc in every other way it would work & it takes no knowledge of physics or engineering to adapt it.
