I'm helping a farmer who is a friend of mine and I'm learning all about rotary Rikes. I am so Impressed how Fluffy This rotary rake makes it. What a time changer this is. I'm a hard core believer.
We’ve always wanted to see how they work - I wasn’t quite sold on it the day we did the JD demo - but actually getting this one here and really USING it on our fields - It’ll pay for itself - even in this dry drought the dust has been controlled!
Hi Kayla Been of an on but still watching . From experience in Warspite Alberta there are good years and bad years ,My Uncles kept on going and now Uncle Johns kids are doing it . We don't know what's ahead of us ,,you just keep going . I miss our farm in Warspite living here in Victoria BC Canada but watching you and other farm shows sure helps . God bless all the farms in the US and Canada . Take care all .
Your videos are not chaotic to me, I love the variety in them as I know you have to bounce back and forth between projects to keep things going on the farm. Don't worry about us thing "chaotic" for any reason and please do what you can to make hay while you can, we love what you two have been filming. Praying for rain so there is a second cutting.
You seemed more relaxed in this video. I hope by now, July 24, you have had some rain. You haven't had anymore fields fires? Nice video. Look forward to the next one. Please understand when you are being transparent that includes your emotions. You are not winning or complaining. You are explaining what it is like to be a first generation farmer tears and all. May God's face shine upon you and may he lead you by still waters. May he restore you soul and guide in paths of righteousness. Until nest time.
As a haygrower myself, we had a difficult year so far here in Belgium (western Europe) first cutting started early June and is still not finished yet because of the rain.. hope you get a few inches over there!
Praying ya'll get rain soon. It's amazing how what doesn't seem like a large distance can make a huge difference. I'm on the western side of the state almost in line w/ ya'll and we've been getting a decent amount of rain lately. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it starts making its way farther East.
We got a little over an inch at the shop Sunday!!! But you couldn’t tell 10 hours later. Just thankful for whatever pops up at this point in the game!!!
those rakes . the drive shafts from tee gear box to rotors ... pull the off and apart regularlly and oil or grease (your choice) the lemon tubing ... way more ofter on them small shafts than you might think..
7-24-23 Your neighbor over Illinois..............Hey Kayla, I agree with "Charles 9622."..........don't force yourself to have to be speaking all the time that takes energy!!! Just take your followers along with you, let us WATCH the action outside cab windows as you do.!! I could ride with you from one end of the field and back, maybe only have "2 cents" to say if I were doing the video. Don't get me wrong Kayla, love to hear your thoughts what you have to say BUT don't force it on yourself. Hey what are we doing, we are out here baling, riding, watching . and busy making a video! Called "tagging along" OK ? ❣❣
Thanks for being such a great support system all these years!!! Your cards mean a lot too 🤍 … we’re chopping this week so I’m definitely taking the Whole “silent” is okay approach
Not a criticism but don’t feel like you have to be talking in your videos all of the time. We DO like watching the baler through the window and watching Jason load bales for long stretches without the need for any comments. Other channels I watch have half hour videos with no commentary at all. You put too much pressure on yourself to find something to talk about all of the time. If we didn’t like watching, we wouldn’t be here! #friends😊
Great to see the kids helping out where I stay i could sit and watch mowing raking and bailing all day. Great job guy's
Thanks for being a part of the sotry 👍
There is only one way to become a pro at backing and that’s doing it young lady.
Yep.....I agree, you don't get good at backing up unless you do it !
I’ve definitely gotten better over the years … I have to remind him. I’ve only been doing this full time 3 years now 😅
Kayla, I think you're selling yourself Short. You have proven you can do anything you put your mind to girl.❤
I agree. Have confidence you are able to do the work

Kayla, what kind of jeans do you wear, that has that double stitched seams?
They’re Ariat brand - the only thing Jas & I can find to uphold with our lifestyle.
Well Kayla looks like y’all are getting that much needed rain
It’s such a beautiful blessing this morning. I’m contemplating just sitting out in and Praising God today 🫶🏼
Hope you are having a good week and that have been able to work with your colt. You been able to do any riding?

How did it feel to be in a green tractor? That is a good looking steer. If it wanted it would take your son for a walk!

Kayla, is that Massey rake pto or ground driven? Looks like it's doing a good job. Hope you get needed rain.
All of these modern rotary rakes are PTO driven
