    These videos are superb. Although they relate to BSCRA-style slot cars most can be applied to hard body slot cars or adapted. Nice work James, thank you.

    Another suggestion is 3/32 titanium rod we've been using them for axles with roller bearings in 1/24 slot car drag racing for years. No magnetism and less rotating weight, I feel it would pay dividends in the corners.

      I agree that titanium axles don’t have any magnetic drag but they are not really strong enough to withstand the crashes that happen in flat track racing. People have used them but often fail to finish due to bent axles.

      Hi Onubiker. Thanks for watching. The axle checker is one I made for myself many years ago. I hope to get time to make a few more but I have an idea to incorporate something else within the design 😉
