The way she sang this song is copied directly from the original performance of Asia's songbird -Regine Velasquez who sang this many years ago wearing a white gown. You should watch that performance

Tnx for appreciating the talent of Katrina. FYI, 99% of Pilipino Singers started singing at a very young age, participated in almost all competitions and keep praticing their raw gifted talents everyday until they refined their vocals all by themselves without the help of a vocal coach, not because they don't want to, but because they cannot afford to hire one. And in the Philppines we have the Karaoke (we call it Videoke) almost in every nook and cranny of the country wherein people singing while sitting and that's the reason Pilipino singers are used to sing while sitting. All vocal coaches said it's hard to sing while sitting, but Pilipinos slay their covers while sitting, what more if they sing while standing. LMAO.

Katrina Velarde is known here in the Philippines as the "Suklay Diva" where suklay means comb in english. This is because before she started her career in the music industry, she used to sing with a comb as her microphone. She has a lot of videos to prove this. And she's really good in impersonating other singers. She really has a great voice!
