I’ve been snowboarding a couple years now and just started wakeboarding about 3 months ago and I couldnt agree more with everything you said in this video
We're at a resort on a lake and I signed up for lessons. They said I had to waterski first but that lesson was a bust, I could only get up out of the water hanging off the bar, the short line was the next step but I couldn't make it work. Today's lesson was the wakeboarding, I couldn't get up on the water from the bar or the long line, but kept trying until time was up. A recent broken thumb has tanked my grip strength, and being 255 lbs doesn't help. I can't believe how much drag there is on that thing! There's a cable park about 45 minutes from home that I'll visit yet this summer, I'm not giving up!
Heck yeah Kevin! I’m coming up with a video that will explain the basics of going to the wakeboard cable park. I think you’ll get up and understand everything at the cable park. My local cable park westrock has such good instructors and I’m sure most do. Don’t give up, you got this!!! West rock wakepark also has a RUclips channel with videos too.

They have these all over the US but Westrock is a riders park and it’s a favorite for a lot of pros.
