Whenever I play RTS or turn-based strat games, these videos are always a good thing to listen to
Morals of the last 2 stories: don't stay at air bnb's in rural, isolated small towns, especially by yourself. I also feel bad for the 1st guy who nearly got killed at his South Carolina air bnb house, and the guy Ramone didn't get arrested for it.
i know i felt bad for him too.

The moral for like 85% of all of these stories is "own a gun and get some training on how to use it properly".
The real moral of the story is: the world isn't nice. It doesn't play by the rules. Carry a gun when you travel, know how to use it and you'll either scare someone enough to leave you alone or give them a permanent one way ticket to a bad place. Either way, you win, they lose, and you don't have to worry as much.
@@superphantom100 Unfortunately it wouldn't have done any good because he had just stayed there and could have just used it then.
Since the police didn't charge him with anything, I hope they still at least checked his ID and took down his information.

Yeah, I would have had my . 357 snub nose loaded with FMJ hollow point ammo on me while staying there, and have my Glock 22 chambered in. 45 acp in my glove box loaded for back up lol
STORY 3: wtf. A designated smoking spot in an run down shed, where it somehow still smelt like cigarette smoke even though no ones been in there. AND THEY THOUGHT THE GREEN FLASH CAME FROM A BEAR. it makes sense guys if you think about it. The bear was smoking when he was rudely interrupted in the designated smoking zone. So later that night he flashed them with his ray gun to really give them a spook.

The suspicious guys turning and staring as the person drives by to me is already a red flag. And practically the same guys trying to hide when the person was leaving would have alarm bells going off for me. I’d get the hell out right there and then before things escalated further.
Maybe I’m just too paranoid, but after watching the I Spit On Your Grave movie, who wouldn’t? Lol
growing up in the city that was an INSTANT red flag for me lol. People walking on a gravel road thats supposed to be private? Then creeping around the house? Absolutely not, especially with the airbnb dudes attitude towards it? Not a chance in hell I'd stay there
Honestly for me to go to any place that’s isolated and rural like that I’d want to have like 2-3 friends with me. Watching these stories has made me paranoid being alone in an isolated place.
Given it was an AirBnB and how soon the owner responded to the guest’s text about creeping around, I’m guessing the owner was in on the robbery. Reasons I never use AirBnB
@@Lawrence_Talbot yeah I think the owner was involved because the power also coincidentally went off when the robbery was taking place and how would the robber get in without breaking a window or door.

For story 2, I bet the owner was involved. He might have even been the one in the house. It's also entirely possible that the other two guys weren't involved at all-just a crazy coincidence. But surely the owner was involved.

That last story had so much detail it was like a full movie playing in my head! Love interests, drinking, and spooks. 😂

I remember years ago when I was in high school my brother and I would help out our mom on a paper route every Sunday night. It was the middle of the night in a dark, quiet, wooded, small town and we would play Mr. Nightmare scary stories throughout the night to freak ourselves out. Thanks Mr. Nightmare for the quality content all these years.

Mr Nightmare makes the atmosphere feel at ease when he uploads. Coming home tonight to some stories of his is a tradition of mine. Airbnb can be fun, but sometimes even strangers can go to dangerous lengths to ruin the guests stay at their house.
I love how you don’t try to sound all spooky like these other channels. Great story teller 👍🏾

Wow. My mom just found out about Airbnb YESTERDAY and wants to go to houses instead of our ant filled hotel. I saw this video in my subscription, and said, “mom, guess what topic Mr Nightmare is covering”. Made my mom sisters and I laugh.
We of course know we’ll be fine, since the Airbnb we’re wanting to rent is our neighbor’s guest house. Video will give me survival tips nonetheless. Thank you for all the content you’ve been giving us Mr Nightmare. Literally my favorite horror RUclips channel out there! ❤

As someone who lives in the middle of the Appalachian woods, about an hour away from the nearest store, hearing all these descriptions about people being scared of being alone in the woods is funny to me

I just recently started listening to Mr. Nightmare and I love it! My cat apparently loves it, too. She will lay down next to the phone and sometimes bat at the screen when an image pops up 🤣
The second story describes me perfectly. I'm 22 and I still live with my parents and I'm working some odd jobs. I was with someone but they left me and now I'm trying to get my associates in paralegal work to move out. My life is kind of sad right now but I hope in the next few years I can be in a better place.

Been watching for seven years now :') he was my initial introduction to horror narration-- back when I was twelve and listening in the giant office chair of the "computer room" while I was supposed to be doing schoolwork. Reminds me of the time a group of friends & I rented this huge AirBnB cabin in the woods. It was a bit awkward bc a year earlier, one of my friends had lost both his sisters in an accident. That was the worst trip-strange incidents kept occurring, we found a huge sanitarium on the mountain, & unfortunately several of us developed rather strange meat cravings. I’ll never forget that, it was almost like someone was controlling the decisions I made. Anyway, that was the last time I did AirBnB…I couldn’t wait UNTIL THAT SUN CAME UP!

I once drove from our home in Indianapolis up to pick up my daughter from her home in central Wisconsin. I pulled into her driveway, where she was waiting on us. She jumped straight in, and we headed back home, stopping only for food, energy drinks, and bathroom breaks. My total drive time was 19 hours, and I was punch-drunk when we got back. It was an awesome experience, especially as I love road trips, but I will never do it again.
Mr. Nightmare was my gateway drug to the true horror story genre on RUclips that I had, up until then, never known existed. It helps that, seeing as I follow six or seven similar channels, with him being the first one I happened upon, he is still as good of a storyteller as there is.
