They always start and end with a prayer and it's the most amazing, altruistic thing I've seen and is definitely on par with Sikhs doing langar seva!
It is extremely unhealthy for a child to go on a complete fast! Maybe 1 meal a day but to not eat at all is extremely bad for children, especially when it is for an extended period of time like ramadan! I understand religion but ppl need to start using common sense as well!

I am Turkish. I must say, in all Turkic countries, Uzbek rice is my all time favorite. My mom used to cook Uzbek pilaf at least once month. Everyone should try it at least once. You won't regret.
