Every shot in the book and several more that were unique to him, Federer just played the game on a different level to everyone else.

As a real Federer fan I have to admit how often Djokovic aplauded to Federer, I didn't see often otherways altough Djokovic outplayed Federer many times!

I don't think it is anything as dramatic as Federer having something against Novak. He just applauds very rarely, nothing but the craziest winners.

Djokovic applauds only while leading the match

Well there is difference between true class shot or a genius shot and outplaying somebody by consistency! We cheer for Nick or Dustin or Santoro for that matter but not for Ferrer Davydenko! There is a huge gap is skills here! Dts all!

In my opinion, these clips prove Roger is the greatest tennis player to have ever graced a tennis court. And not to forget which he often is...Peter Sampras is not very far behind either. Thanks Raz

Gorgeous Raz thsnk uou! And Merry Christmas to you😊. You're the gift that keeps on giving💞.
So annoys me how ppl talk like Carlitos invented the confounding drop-shot. For sure he watched viddies like this one.
And as for his speed supposedly excelling beyond all previous well that pick up vs Mayer just goes to show Fed was superfast and had total control to boot.
And then everyone else's defense is supposed to be better than The Fed? Well hell, just look at that last clip.
And half-volley pick-ups off the toes? Nobody does it betterer, as the Stuttgart clip shows - dtl for a winner from the baseline.
I may hv got some of the shots out of sync with the tournament - but that's just my memory failing. You get the point.
No hay nadie, pero nadie! mas grande que RogerFederer.

Merry Christmas Laura! And thank you for the wonderful comment 🙏
I think Carlos watched a lot of Fed growing up, no wonder he executed the drop shot really well. There is a video of Carlos naming Fed as his idol back in the day.
You’re right about the half volley pick ups… only Fed could make them with such consistency! And yes, it was Stuttgart 😜 (2016)

I do not think so. Seems to me that in the end Rafa is much more enamoured with Roger’s game than Novak! 🤷‍♀️
