Not likely one makes up a language just for him or herself. It's usually among some group. In this case, it's a variation of Turkish.

Imagine it's just an ancient kids drawing and we are finding a translation to the LANGUAGE OF GODS
There was a guy and his son who translated it. It's basically written as you would speak, which made it so hard to understand. However, it's basically just a manual for growing plants. It's pretty cool. They have a RUclips video on here somewhere.
No, there wasn't.
Absolutely fascinating!
I've carefully examined the photos of Voynich Manuscript on the internet and I concluded that manuscript was written by someone who was *high as a kite* or by someone who was mentally ill.
I'm pretty positive that someone translated this, or at least the jist of it. It was on several different topics such as medicine, botany, astronomy, etc.
A book given to travelers tasked with drawing and mapping plants and biology, one traveler would pass it to the next and they all used a code kind of a universal language so they could all read and write in the book in one code together
This could be a language or it's just like a kid trying to write
Probably a hormonal teenager
Lol
Unlikely a kid given how rare and extremely expensive the materials for bookmaking were back then.
A very odd kid I bet

I bet this book was considered to be the key to eternal youth/life at the time.
Or a gardeners journal about some rare plants and how to grow them.
Since it has American plants, man has always assumed travel went from Europe to America. What if it was a civilisation that sailed from America to Europe who wrote the book. The book was made from Bison. The timeline merges with the European timeline. There is also the Turkish breakthrough.

If I remember correctly Turing didn't solve Enigma. He build more eficient decoding machine (Turing Bombe), but he based it on reaserch of the polish students.
The scenario that makes most sense is that it was the work of a medium claiming to "channel" angels, aliens, ancient peoples, and the like. The rule of such things is that they draw on semiconscious creativity, usually based on the subject's knowledge of language.
Why there's no soul that thought about searching the style of the art first then source out where could possibly the art are from. I know the book may be decrypted by now. Just an opinion. Hehe
You do it.
@@windowslogo3577 no i can't 😂. I'm no expert. Or you meant something else?😅
My thoughts is that it’s some spiritual language probably a dialect from wiccans/witches/pagans kind of stuff that was unique to the area it was made and possibly only used by a single coven
That's likely, a secret society of individuals who were practicing ritualistic arts of the ancients.
Considering it had extremely descriptive illustrations, It could have been the collected works of multiple individuals all recorded in code by one of them.
A theory I find plausible is the idea that women wrote it, that the book is some kind of guide that was used in the training of midwives. The pages are decorated with mandrake roots and other plants associated with fertility and contraception. The mysterious language could be something similar to nushu, a language created by the women of an isolated Chinese village.
Since they couldn’t get an education because they were women, the village women created a sort of code that they could sew into fabric as a means of communicating secretly without their men finding out, delivering each other messages via scarves and other objects given to each other as gifts. This language remained secret for centuries because as far as the men knew, they were just women carrying on a hobby, just doing women’s work.
Maybe there’s something similar at work with the Voynich manuscript. Since women couldn’t be educated, they created their own language which sadly, unlike nushu, didn’t manage to survive. Midwives were sorely in need and it was important for there to be some kind of standardized training/knowledge in the field, some women created this text to serve as a means of training.
Of course, knowing how academia works, I imagine that they are more willing to entertain the idea of aliens writing the book than they are to consider women writing it.
You've been thinking pretty hard about this. Cool theory.

I think this was just a diary of a person who doesn't want people to know his craziness because he puts in weird things. Like the plants he saw, then the star patterns he saw and people he's curious of.
It’s actually written in old Turkish. Someone familiar with the language figured this out and made a video about it titled “voynich manuscript revealed (2018)”
I have my own theory: some scientists have found evidence of the Chinese settling in Wyoming and surrounding California oregan and western U.S so maybe it was a book written in an ancient Chinese language about the passed down stories about going to the continent of North America?
Yeah I can understand that theory. It could be wrote up and down, and not right to left. I also find a possibility that it could be wrote backwards.
@@That1TrashMan mirror
@@Mahlak_Mriuani_Anatman Exactly...
🤔… First, I’d have the pages scanned. Next, I’d digitally separate writing from illustrations. Then I’d have the computer compare ALL known writings, as far back as possible, and come up with close matches. I’d also have it compare, as much as possible, the different depicted pictures & such.
As for the plants being from Central America, two things: #1: when did the Vikings discover America? And due to relations between the Norse & the Knights Templar… could happen. #2: could there have been plants in the Old World (Europe, Asia, & Africa) that are related/similar to plants in the New World (North America, South America, Australia, & Antarctica)? This type of Methodology should be used for the rest of the book…

@@JiHan-xw8js By who and where? Wiki has nothing about this.

Did anyone else assume the "plants" were probably hallucinogenics, delirients, psychoactives or dissociative plants? Like this could have been an earlier *coded* guide on farming and harvesting illicit compounds
At page 25, there is a small baby dragon picture drawn on it. All pages are very detailed tbh, even the types of roots of the plants are detailed drawn.
It's an alchemy guide book. It was sold to that king under the guise that it contained the secrets to immortality. Also Alchemy was far more complex than changing into gold, it involved astrology, herbalogy, and the search for the "elixir or youth", this is consistent with what appears to be the book's themes, as well as who owned it, and why.
As for the language, we can't know if it's a cipher, long-dead exotic language, or long lost invented language (medieval version of elvin or klingon, or some such), but we can and DO know that alchemists frequently obscured their work by writing in various codes, due to persecution by medieval kings who saw their work as blasphemy. This may also explain why the author is long lost, s/he may not have WANTED to be found.

David McIntyre sorry that was just the shittest one I’ve seen today.
Leonardo Davinci wrote backwards in old Latin when he didn't want his books read. I think it could be Hebrew because after researching it and studying the Hebrew language at that time as well as taking a look at the man's findings for having to "make corrections" for it to make sense I have found that most of the text can be translated from hebrew if you read it backwards.
Yeah but one thing though is nobody could understand the Volunich Manuscript
I know what that language it is. It's called "Old Obsidian" it was used as a language from 250 BC and rediscovered a century later.
He literally used the most powerful translation and decryption tool we have and actually made a believable translation yet they still shot him down lol

I can see it as being written by a family. When ur young u might make up a language with ur sibling(s). Also the plants could have just been something from the imagination. When you are trying to draw something natural u may eventually draw something that already exists without knowing it does.
