I bartended at the Double Tree hotel next to the San Francisco Airport. That job was intense. Working 10 to 12 hours a day, holding in your piss for 6 hours, and dealing with jagoffs. The most stressful job I ever had. But made around 90 grand a year.
+wedhead117 It was a different era , the lawsuit craze in America began circa 1994 when that old woman won around 3 million from mcdonalds coz they sold her coffee that was too hot it just spiraled out of control after that , I'm not a lawyer so I could be wrong here but I doubt it as I'm rarely wrong :P
Overheard a bartender. Complain that he "got only a hundred dollars" at his shifts end. Meanwhile I worked the same hours that night but was back of house washing dirty dishes all night long and got paid $49 total from hourly wages (No tips for back of house workers). He made double what I made, and complained because he was use to making much more. Poster is right, Bartenders earn good money at most places.
+Ettore Fontana Right. So they went steady for 8 years and lived together for a large chunk of them but throughout he was still the same good ol' Billy redface, upfront doesn't give a fuck and tells it how it is. But now that they made a fancy get together with some family members and one government employee said a few words he's a changed person, and I'm guessing a shell of the man he was? Yeah I think it's all in your head bud.
Dishwasher, busboy, cook, janitor, and hand burner. A man of many talents before he ever became a comedian.
He's like Daenerys with all those titles
Rafael Trivino don’t forget paper boy! :)
The great “Roofing as a redhead in July”

Epic scream Bill lol.
The restaurant biz robbed me of sections of my soul. Literally the worst times of MY LIFE! OF MY LIFE!!!
lmaooo, i apologize for that.
At least you've got your pirate family to go back to
I've been in this industry for almost a decade and i still love hilarious kitchen stories like these
Fuck. I can't figure out why this story is so outrageously funny, even loving Bill Burr's typical stuff. This one's special shit.
5:44 priceless
Jack of All Trades, but a master of none.
Except for comedy
@@stuff4232 you just took what I was gonna write word for word
Bill should read mean comments for a video.
I don't think he gives a fuck what people say about him. It's like he's invincible. It would be more like Bill hating on people XD
+Issac Stalclose
FUCK YOU
+Issac Stalclose I'm dying in laughter because I can't understand why you said fuck you to yourself hahaha I'm so confused but I love it lol
+Robin Bat

He'd probably be more upset about what people say about his wife on some videos.
Ol’ Freckles was definitely not ServSafe Certified
I was a cook for several years before college. Still have the precious burn scars and party animal memories...

Did Nia leave the room part way through this? Kept waiting to hear the laugh but it never came.
Cause she’s prob heard the story a million times, just sitting there in her phone or some shit 😂
It actually cut to the first time he told the story. He was alone the first time.

Nia didn't laugh or say anything during that whole story lol
Nah, I've heard this podcast, it was edited, she left the room
Never feel sorry for a bartender. On a good night, if they're hot and good at it, they can make a bunch of money.
Unless you’ve worked in hospitality, and seen the shady shit bosses pull as well as having almost no rights as a worker, shut the fuck up.

Same for servers. On a busy weekend they can take home what I make in a week.
I hate the expression "suave" cause that's not how you pronounce suave lmao
And these fast food workers want $15 an hour. Play those punks this clip
Trevor Blake how dare they request a living wage, those scoundrels
@@popnpeaceprincess how dare they wear clothes sewn together by little kids in factories that take home $1 per day
Did you hear the same clip I did? The dude was doing 4 jobs at the same time and wasn't even bitching about it.
Trevor Blake what the hale that got to do with what i said. child labor is wrong. not paying a living wage is wrong.
HittokiriBatosai anyways. people should be paid a living wage.
Hey, look, it's Yoko singing 'lalalalala' all over again
How you have changed, mr burr

+Marc G they definitely would not.
+J-M R This really is the saddest thing to me, when i read those comments where his wannabe fans project their problems with women on nia.
+sorryst illtrying Yep! i find Nia funny and the balance that makes Bill even funnier!
Leeds Drum Academy Well, i'm not a big fan of her, honestly.
