Kankakee AASF High Expansion Foam (HEF) System Test

This video shows the test for the High Expansion Foam (HEF) system in the hangar space at the Kankakee Readiness Center and Army Aviation Support Facility. It is a requirement to test the system prior to certifying the system. The barrels in the middle of the room need to be covered within a certain time frame and then the foam needs to reach a minimum height on the walls within four minutes. This was all accomplished and passed. The foam dried over the weekend and turned to a light powdery dust that was swept out of the space.
