33 W. Huron Rooftop HVAC Unit Replacement
Bailey Edward replaced two outside HVAC units for a 67-unit apartment building in the heart of downtown Chicago. Bailey Edward used a helicopter to successfully deliver the new units atop the roof and to remove the inefficient old models. The new models featured custom gas heating, electric cooling rooftop units that provided 7,000 CFM of outside air, new grilles with dampers that provided the correct amount of air flow to each floor, and exhaust fans. Toilet, kitchen and plumbing vents obtained the correct distance from each other.

This video shows the test for the High Expansion Foam (HEF) system in the hangar space at the Kankakee Readiness Center and Army Aviation Support Facility. It is a requirement to test the system prior to certifying the system. The barrels in the middle of the room need to be covered within a certain time frame and then the foam needs to reach a minimum height on the walls within four minutes. T...

For our recent fire alarm design at UIUC Fred Turner Student Services Building, our lead engineer, Kent Locke, was on-site for the testing of the system. During horn testing, Kent checks for proper installation, recorded sound levels of the audio devices to make sure they are 20 dB higher than ambient, synchronization of all the visual devices, and more. The fire alarm test video documented pro...

1:24 nice beat
What the heck kind of place is this?
i wonder
that 7002T at 1:16 about to drop the hardest west coast instrumental of 2024
Pin me 😢
1:27 This one has a tempo of 215 BPM
0:56 Me when I got many A+'s on every exam
Let me get a reading behind the door 🤣🤣
What is the panel?
Pyrotronics XL3
Reminds me so much of my apartments old system that they retired in 2019. We had 7002-24s on an est irc-3. We now have all genesis on an est 3
Sounds like one of the folks said, "It's laughing" at 1:00
That can't be legal for those certain rooms to have no audible signal.
This system old dumbass.
What kind of system is this?
Pyrotronics XL3. Those are work-horses.
Anyone see the V-33 on the panel? :P
i did
4J25 yup!
Many of those halways didnt have a strobe in sight, no more strobes were needed? Also, why did that office have two strobes?
The one at 0:52 sounds almost like a skipping 9806.
LLLOOOOUUUUUUDDDDDD
Never seen ceiling mount 7002t horn strobes before.
Gary Beltz They were part of the 7001T series which they made a ceiling mount version for
For Wheelock 7001t series, those are old devices, most likely on the ‘80s. Synchronization started on the ‘90s. Therefore, to have a synchronized devices/system, those existing devices shall be replaced with at least devices like the Wheelock Series Exceder Horn Strobes (HSR).
And strobe synchronization in areas with more than one visible devices is an NFPA 72 and ADA requirement to prevent possible seizure on epileptic patients.
Bailey Edward what's gonna happen to these alarms I want one so bad and they are impossible to get
@@BaileyEdwardArchsometimes fire alarm systems are grandfathered into. so they can be not synchronized and up to code because the building is built before the synchronization requirements in the 90s.
well at least it's the exceder and not just the spectralert advance again
@STR2K6 what if those alarms all break though over time..
I love how 7001ts 7002s 7002ts and i believe 7000 21 -24s all have their own pulses
Me too...that's because these older xenon strobes were all different; just like no snowflake is alike, no early non-ADA strobe is either. It's too bad they all have to flash once per second now; I always took a liking to these older systems; but my sister has epilepsy so I can see why they are all the same now because that would cause a lot of medical issues. :(
firefreak57 Xenon is still what's used in most strobes today
I know, I was just saying that the 7000-series has no flash adjustment; it is just all random flash rate wise.
Those devices are from the days before synchronization, haha.
Too true! We're fixing the synchronization issues as part of this project.
I assume that means new signals?
weatherdan882002 I was thinking that too because you can't sync those old ones
WAiT!!! 7001t's can be synced?
firefreak57 I thought so. But I do think they can be coded.
Wow, ingenious machine. Thanks for sharing. It gets the creative juices going. Think it will work on the floating ocean debris? I want to rake! That looks like quite the upper body work out. Who needs a gym, we'll just all take turns.
