I've read a lot of comments here and it seems that, (apart from the too loud music i must admit) some people don't understand the meaning of such an adjective given to Gauzy! Of course he's not a top ten player, but he's one of the most creative, talented, with an insane ball touch and enjoyable to watch play! And don't forget that France is historically not a land of professional table tennis compared to China. I've been practicing table tennis for 8 years (R1 level- 35 ranking) so i think i know what i'm talking about. And the lucky point was i think to show the class gesture of Simon when he pick up Mizutani's racket from the floor! And to finish my comment i would add that surely "most" of the English internauts wouldn't be able to write the half of my text in a proper french here on RUclips!!! So please stop criticising or make remarks on a grammatical mistake made by a French!

I always wonder: if his injury in early 2018 (when he was at his ranking peak) did not happenned, would he still be in the top 10 now ? Perhaps not, it's hard to achieve regularity at such high level. Still there is no shame to be in or around the top twenty. Plus there is quite a number of good young players who will probably enter the top twenty real soon making the competition harder. But his style will always be entertaining.
Y'a du répondant en effet. Le tennis de table reste malgré tout un sport sous-représenté dans le service public (s'il existe encore) ou les chaînes TNT. A ce niveau, c'est un sport assez magique dont Simon semble être un représentant notoire. En Allemagne il y a 30 ans, on pouvait déjà admirer sur les chaînes publiques des compétitions en direct. C'est vrai qu'il faut vivre avec son temps et Internet...

It's about ball feeling. Nothing more. And i think that there are better points avaible on the net to show his skills. By the way when you are 19 in world ranking and your best is 8 you're not Ma Long but you're not anybody. And what the video is aiming at in my humble opinion is feeling, touch and creativity.
