I entirely believe that most people are good at heart, not inherently evil. But I also believe that power and temptation are extremely corruptive factors. I understand shikamaru’s thinking that giving people the ability to wield jutsu could be dangerous, especially when many people may feel poor, trapped, or desperate in their situation. Things may get out of hand quickly. But I also definitely agree that there won’t be true peace until ninja are no longer necessary. A world with no weapons can’t be at war. But how do you get to that point. The real pickle.

People aren’t inherently anything because in a lot of cases good and evil is a matter of perspective. We all thought Itachi was “evil”-Until the perspective changed, and then suddenly he wasn’t evil. Did Itachi suddenly go from a guy who massacred his entire clan (including the love of his life and parents) to being a guy who didn’t do that? Nope. He definitely still did that. So what changed? Perspective. That’s it. We were provided a different perspective of the same events and that changed everything.

I feel no one is born evil. It boils down to outside influences and experience that can lead people to darker decisions. This is why I feel animals are less of a threat than mankind. Animals mostly live using instinct. We humans can change at anytime due to all of these X Factors around us. We just hope that those X Factors does not have a major impact on our thinking.
Peace is everyone having the same end goals with the same dedication and the ability to maintain that dedication. Essentially it is perfectly balanced relationships between every human being and group of human beings. Definitely something to strive for, but forgiveness and contentment are key in an imperfect world.
I disagree with Kakashi and Shikamaru. Even if you take away ninja and the Feudal Lords, human greed will still exist. Whatever system replaces the current one will have people in it that will do whatever it takes to get what they want even if it means starting wars.

I like to believe that everyone is born inheritedly good, and that certain situations are what turn people into being evil. But as Naruto has shown time and time again love and compassion can turn the most evil hearts back into good ones.
I disagree, technically speaking from the Universe perspective there isn’t even a clear line of what is good and what is evil. In modern society murder is considered evil, yet 1000years ago people killed each other and didn’t consider it evil. Hell even in modern society soldiers kill people, and it is seen as an act of justice and good. My belief on the matter is humans are neither born good or evil, we are instead born with the capacity to be good or evil, or even a mix. The thing is good and evil is very subjective and circumstantial. I would say some are more inclined to be what is classified as good or evil. Such as psychopath more included to do acts that are currently considered evil, as they can’t feel love, empathy, remorse/guilt. But ultimately from a universal perspective very few things and acts can truly be considered evil, even than it still is subjective.
I’ve always stood by the belief that Naruto never attained true peace like Pain wanted. He didn’t even know the answer to how to achieve true peace. He just got so strong that other villages and nations weren’t going to start a war because they knew how strong Naruto really was. Naruto isn’t really the right kind of person to look for the true meaning of peace anyway. His ideology and beliefs are too generic for that. Hatred will always be a part of the ninja world. I’ve been thinking the same thing. Even though the 5 villages and the Kage are in good terms, that doesn’t mean that will last forever. In the timeskip something will happen that will make Kawaki believe the shinobi system needs to be extinguished for good. On top of that, once the 5 Kage find out that Boruto is now 100% Otsutsuki, they will take action for the sake of their people. The Boruto series as a whole may not look like much now but minds will be changed once the timeskip comes. This cycle of hatred will never end and even if it did, “communication and understanding” is not enough. Naruto ideology is good for now, but it will not last. If Naruto was not around, I PROMISE YOU that the villages will eventually get into conflict once again.

Depends on your definition of "evil". Humans are inherently self serving. Even the ones that save lost puppies and help old ladies with groceries. A truly selfless person is a unicorn in society. Most of us have a mental line drawn for how far our "good" goes. Those people can easily be the same people that shoot an intruder in their home when the intruder probably was just extremely desperate and only wanted food. I've had this convo with several people and I'm convinced that the reason humans are so physically weak is because of the strength of our minds. Most if not all animals, right down to ants, easily lift multiple times their body weight, move at incredible speeds, have wings to fly, survive falls from great heights etc. If we had any or a combination of all those abilities, we'd be the only ones on the planet right now so God had to step in with those limiters like with Code. As for the Narutoverse itself, I don't think necessarily that a world without ninja will lead to peace, but maybe a world with out the shot callers, aka the feudal lords, can propel the ninja world toward true peace. Eliminate the puppet master and the puppet show ends. It's like with Itachi and the Uchiha massacre.. He was set on being branded traitor and criminal.. Why not just kill Danzo? Chances are a lot of Danzos evil doing would've come to light and he'd eventually be pardoned and Sasuke never would have gone the path he did and Shisui and the other Uchiha would still be prospering til this day. That's my thoughts on it.
Humans aren’t inherently good or evil. They do what is needed or believed to survive as you mentioned robbing a bank with ninjutsu techniques, the person robbing the bank could be doing out of desperation to survive or not having another choice, they could also do it for fun and be desensitized to others feelings and needs. I generally think people inherently are good and evil. Everyone has that breaking point sometime in their life and eventually end up doing more bad than good. Pushing people away .People get betrayed/ people stop believing. It all depends on the situation. Good people make bad decisions and bad people make good decisions. It’s only human right? The only problem is people judge you for the choice you make. They never know the options you had to choose from. Everyone has a different view on peace but it’ll never be viewed the same imo. People make mistakes it’s only human but to judge someone on the decisions they make good or bad will never make sense to me. Everyone has a time in life where they actually struggle and sometimes it brings the worst and sometimes it brings the best. Those are the times you realize what you inherited good or evil
If I remember right humanity naturally rebellious, so no matter how good or bad the current system is we inherited want to change it. Like the struggle between order and chaos or freedom and enslavement. power for oneself or power spread throughout the people. I think we have an equal potential for good or evil and our life experiences can change the pendulum.

With shikamaru being Naruto first friend in the series I think that is more significant than we initially thought. That first friendship bond Naruto made with shikamaru. Now with potentially losing Naruto is Boruto. I think shikamaru will be the BEST hokage konaha will have by far. I think the point atleast of Naruto story as a whole is that True Peace in the Narutoverse as well as real life can never be achieved by imperfect beings. Naruto to me didn’t fail because despite the bad things he did as a kid (more mischievous) he never stopped pushing for peace. I think if more characters did that the Peace would last longer. Even if there were no Feudal Lords and Ninja system another system of oppression would arise only you wouldn’t have a ninja system to combat it. The Ninshu and ninjutsu would still exist. In todays world we don’t fight like we used to but there’s still fighting and death and murder. I don’t think people are inherently good. We are predisposed to do good and bad so we can’t truly be good. Statistically speaking some people realize their bad ways and attempt to do more good than bad.

After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, Fused Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke and ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further and still lost 1v1 to KID Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods. 3. Base Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing Fused Momoshiki and punching him in the stomach, activated his jougan and countered Momoshiki's taijutsu which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(that was mixed with both Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat Fused Momoshiki. But the *FACT* remain that KID Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki 1v1 and held his own and won proving he's already Otsutsuki tier, it's not debatable.

Teaching the way of chakra and ninjutsu to regular Humans is like a twin -edge sword it can harmed others and it can harm you as a person, if that happens the crime rates will rise Arson , kidnapping, Rape, killings, robbery etc 2. I’ve been saying this for the longest they need before part 1 ends dive more into the plot of how all the kages feel about boruto and in my opinion it should be some type invasion arc to cap off part 1 and the whole situation can pop off because the threat of borutoshiki and naruto be unwilling to kill his own son forcing the kages hands to back door naruto in hopes of assassinating boruto they align themselves with kara. This would be the perfect way to build up eida character as well as code eida can mind control feudual maybe one of the kages making them kara outers going through with a plan to assassin boruto violating the peace treaty and if characters like hinata and himiwari got killed as collateral damage making boruto rage letting borutoshiki killing some of the old gen like a lee or sai maybe some new gen as well and one of the kages . It's matter of free will tbh. Ninjutsu or not if someone decides to do something to harm another then wars and battles will persist. Taking away Ninjutsu alone will not take away the evil acts. Honestly I think Shikamaru knows that this ideology is all fluff. U remove the lords that leaves a huge power vacuum which can lead to even worse circumstances. As someone else in the comments section rightfully mentioned the best way for so called peace is if every nation has the ability to wipe out the other which is what Hashirama did with the tailed beasts. This will stop any side from making any drastic decisions. Unfortunately for the smaller nations some may thrive whilst others suffer but that is the necessary sacrifice. Minato was starting to come to that conclusion imo, he told Naruto that as long as the ninja system is around more Pains will be made. The only way to move towards peace is to remove ninja and feudal lords, but that's the issue. Ninjas make money for the lords and the ninja villages need the lords to sustain themselves.

I think the bad or evil thing can sometimes be the easier thing to do. Or it's could be the thing for the most self benefit (getting what you want). It can also be very easy to sway a positive intention into an evil thing as you say the the way to hell is paved with good intentions.
Inherently I'd say people are a mixture of both i.e balanced between the 2 as it should be, but then you have people through one way or the other ending shifting too much on the bad side(purposefully causing danger) or too much on the good side(oblivious to the dangers of the world)

Do I think ending the world of ninja's will lead to peace in the series? Well if you apply real world logic no. Because you will still have crime and violence regardless of which government system is used. As such simply doing away with the ninja system would not fix the problem. Do I think human's are inherently good or evil ? Well honestly I fall in line with neither. As I see it all people can be good or evil depending on life circumstances and beyond that what nature a person is at birth depends on the person. Of course I would also factor into this that people's nature is partly genetic and the rest is life experiences. So are people good are evil ? This question technically has alot of grey to it. Because in away a total sadistic psychopath is technically unlucky from a genetic level and someone that has had shity life experiences is likewise unlikely.

I dont think true peace can be attained In the world of naruto, On one hand you wanna get rid of the feudal lords but how do you handle the funding system after that which nobody in the novel or anime addresses. And at the same time you cant really expect people to just have this union change of heart and only use chakra for true good, there are always gonna be people that abuse power to take advantage of other people. So to answer your question I think it's a mix of people born evil and some people starting with good intentions but they become extreme in their pursuits and it gets twisted it's not black and white, it's a huge grey mess. But I really hope they end Narutos character well if they decide to kill him off I really wanna see if it ends with him being naive about a peaceful world or at some point does he just accept he's chasing a fantasy.
they’ll never be peace no matter how much you want. there will always be forces opposed to life being calm inside human society. man is neither inherently good nor evil, we are grey and not black or white. we all have qualities of both and it depends on the person to decide on what decisions they choose to make. itachi is a perfect examples of how flawed we can be without people knowing our true selves and intentions. there are extreme cases where people can lean to one side heavily and be consumed by either force.

Far as your question on are people inherently good or bad? I think people are born neutral with a clean slate and what we consume good or bad determines whether we’re good or bad in the long run.
Well i believe good and bad are natures that exist independently. They're not inherent to us. Which is why all living things can tap into good or evil, why we all habe differing views of good and evil depending on the thing/subject/situation. Now as for attaining true peace, i think thats kinda impossible. People would have to be so open and understanding to each other and other's stuff and everyone's needs would have to be met equally so that wants can be pursued freely....and i just think people are way too simple and way too complex for that. Though.....i suppose its possible. And we saw this with Onoki during Mistuki's desertion. He saw that the time of ninja was coming to its end or that its dying down. He tried to prepare for the future by creating Stone bots (basically), and Stone Droids. The hope was to provide the future generations with protection and allow them to HAVE to train to become Shinobi, to not have people fighting wars, to not break up families and everyday life and give everyone an equal shot at normalcy. But, what happened was the Stone Droids became like the humans Onoki wanted to protect and went rogue, the sitting Kage of the village was attacked or ambushed and improsoned and the Stone weapons of defense rose up and took over the village. That could have led to further turmoil and a possible war breaking out. So idk. Peace isn't easy as removing something altogether, or giving everyone access to the same thing, or replacing something with something else or even mass psychosis/ putting everyone to sleep.

I entirely believe that most people are good at heart, not inherently evil. But I also believe that power and temptation are extremely corruptive factors. I understand shikamaru’s thinking that giving people the ability to wield jutsu could be dangerous, especially when many people may feel poor, trapped, or desperate in their situation. Things may get out of hand quickly. But I also definitely agree that there won’t be true peace until ninja are no longer necessary. A world with no weapons can’t be at war. I like to believe that everyone is born inheritedly good, and that certain situations are what turn people into being evil. But as Naruto has shown time and time again love and compassion can turn the most evil hearts back into good ones.
I disagree, technically speaking from the Universe perspective there isn’t even a clear line of what is good and what is evil. In modern society murder is considered evil, yet 1000years ago people killed each other and didn’t consider it evil. Hell even in modern society soldiers kill people, and it is seen as an act of justice and good. My belief on the matter is humans are neither born good or evil, we are instead born with the capacity to be good or evil, or even a mix. The thing is good and evil is very subjective and circumstantial. I would say some are more inclined to be what is classified as good or evil. Such as psychopath more included to do acts that are currently considered evil, as they can’t feel love, empathy, remorse/guilt. But ultimately from a universal perspective very few things and acts can truly be considered evil, even than it still is subjective.

I’ve always stood by the belief that Naruto never attained true peace like Pain wanted. He didn’t even know the answer to how to achieve true peace. He just got so strong that other villages and nations weren’t going to start a war because they knew how strong Naruto really was.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. Even though the 5 villages and the Kage are in good terms, that doesn’t mean that will last forever. In the timeskip something will happen that will make Kawaki believe the shinobi system needs to be extinguished for good. On top of that, once the 5 Kage find out that Boruto is now 100% Otsutsuki, they will take action for the sake of their people.
The Boruto series as a whole may not look like much now but minds will be changed once the timeskip comes. This cycle of hatred will never end and even if it did, “communication and understanding” is not enough. Naruto ideology is good for now, but it will not last. If Naruto was not around, I PROMISE YOU that the villages will eventually get into conflict once again.

Depends on your definition of "evil". Humans are inherently self serving. Even the ones that save lost puppies and help old ladies with groceries. A truly selfless person is a unicorn in society. Most of us have a mental line drawn for how far our "good" goes. Those people can easily be the same people that shoot an intruder in their home when the intruder probably was just extremely desperate and only wanted food.
I've had this convo with several people and I'm convinced that the reason humans are so physically weak is because of the strength of our minds. Most if not all animals, right down to ants, easily lift multiple times their body weight, move at incredible speeds, have wings to fly, survive falls from great heights etc. If we had any or a combination of all those abilities, we'd be the only ones on the planet right now so God had to step in with those limiters like with Code.
As for the Narutoverse itself, I don't think necessarily that a world without ninja will lead to peace, but maybe a world with out the shot callers, aka the feudal lords, can propel the ninja world toward true peace. Eliminate the puppet master and the puppet show ends. It's like with Itachi and the Uchiha massacre.. He was set on being branded traitor and criminal.. Why not just kill Danzo? Chances are a lot of Danzos evil doing would've come to light and he'd eventually be pardoned and Sasuke never would have gone the path he did and Shisui and the other Uchiha would still be prospering til this day.

They do what is needed or believed to survive as you mentioned robbing a bank with ninjutsu techniques, the person robbing the bank could be doing out of desperation to survive or not having another choice, they could also do it for fun and be desensitized to others feelings and needs. I think the point atleast of Naruto story as a whole is that True Peace in the Narutoverse as well as real life can never be achieved by imperfect beings. Naruto to me didn’t fail because despite the bad things he did as a kid (more mischievous) he never stopped pushing for peace. I think if more characters did that the Peace would last longer. Even if there were no Feudal Lords and Ninja system another system of oppression would arise only you wouldn’t have a ninja system to combat it. The Ninshu and ninjutsu would still exist. 1. Fused Momoshiki used Shikamaru's shadow paralysis jutsu on them to where they couldn't move and Boruto had to throw his vanishing rasengan in order to free them and save them.
2. After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, Fused Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke and ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further and still lost 1v1 to KID Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods.

Base Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing Fused Momoshiki and punching him in the stomach, activated his jougan and countered Momoshiki's taijutsu which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(that was mixed with both Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat Fused Momoshiki. But the *FACT* remain that KID Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki 1v1 and held his own and won proving he's already Otsutsuki tier, it's not debatable.

Pretty sure I did a poll on it. Six Paths Power and Six Paths Sage Mode are different powers. Only Naruto had six paths Sage Mode. Madara and Obito never had that, they had six paths power.

Well if you apply real world logic no.
Because you will still have crime and violence regardless of which government system is used.
As such simply doing away with the ninja system would not fix the problem.
Do I think human's are inherently good or evil ?
Well honestly I fall in line with neither.
As I see it all people can be good or evil depending on life circumstances and beyond that what nature a person is at birth depends on the person.
Of course I would also factor into this that people's nature is partly genetic and the rest is life experiences.
So are people good are evil ?
This question technically has alot of grey to it.
Because in away a total sadistic psychopath is technically unlucky from a genetic level and someone that has had shity life experiences is likewise unlikely.
Naruto had damn near ALL the power in the world during the war arc , an STILL went the " soft " approach by doing things : softness won't get you anywhere , ESPECIALLY with all that power ? You gotta do things by force .
I personally believe that we naturally do wrong and we have to be taught how to do what’s right.

On one hand you wanna get rid of the feudal lords but how do you handle the funding system after that which nobody in the novel or anime addresses.
And at the same time you cant really expect people to just have this union change of heart and only use chakra for true good, there are always gonna be people that abuse power to take advantage of other people.
So to answer your question I think it's a mix of people born evil and some people starting with good intentions but they become extreme in their pursuits and it gets twisted it's not black and white, it's a huge grey mess.
But I really hope they end Narutos character well if they decide to kill him off I really wanna see if it ends with him being naive about a peaceful world or at some point does he just accept he's chasing a fantasy.
they’ll never be peace no matter how much you want. there will always be forces opposed to life being calm inside human society. man is neither inherently good nor evil, we are grey and not black or white. we all have qualities of both and it depends on the person to decide on what decisions they choose to make. itachi is a perfect examples of how flawed we can be without people knowing our true selves and intentions. there are extreme cases where people can lean to one side heavily and be consumed by either force.
This sounds like this would be Kawaki mindset later making it more understandable why the village is in shambles and probably the goes for other big and small nations not just the Hidden Leaf being destroyed🤔 trying to get rid of the world of Ninjas bit by bit killing of the feudal lords and destroying each village having them to rely on eachother to rebuild again. Sounds in shambles but I trying understand Kawaki mindset in the future cause I believe that this is Kawaki stating that "Age of Shinobi is over."

If they gave one Feudal Lord , someone like Naruto and for help Shikamaru , then they wud not have problems , just one not 20 , five great nations, and all small around 5 big nations , become one, have only one Ultimate Feudal Lord who wants peace, and that peace is achieved by being one state but having cities like, a city of leaf, cloud, stone .. .or the land of fire, the land of lightning .. and so on, dismantled what a country does not have, so they would have money, pay a tax, and from that tax companies would be built, they would have no reason to fight if all have to live will, then of course crime was less,and so was the army, maybe the current generation would not like it, but the next would be dine with it, they would keep what they have and have no reason to fight...

Far as your question on are people inherently good or bad? I think people are born neutral with a clean slate and what we consume good or bad determines whether we’re good or bad in the long run.
Well i believe good and bad are natures that exist independently. They're not inherent to us. Which is why all living things can tap into good or evil, why we all habe differing views of good and evil depending on the thing/subject/situation.
Now as for attaining true peace, i think thats kinda impossible. People would have to be so open and understanding to each other and other's stuff and everyone's needs would have to be met equally so that wants can be pursued freely....and i just think people are way too simple and way too complex for that. Though.....i suppose its possible.
And we saw this with Onoki during Mistuki's desertion. He saw that the time of ninja was coming to its end or that its dying down. He tried to prepare for the future by creating Stone bots (basically), and Stone Droids. The hope was to provide the future generations with protection and allow them to HAVE to train to become Shinobi, to not have people fighting wars, to not break up families and everyday life and give everyone an equal shot at normalcy. But, what happened was the Stone Droids became like the humans Onoki wanted to protect and went rogue, the sitting Kage of the village was attacked or ambushed and improsoned and the Stone weapons of defense rose up and took over the village. That could have led to further turmoil and a possible war breaking out.
So idk. Peace isn't easy as removing something altogether, or giving everyone access to the same thing, or replacing something with something else or even mass psychosis/ putting everyone to sleep.

Peace between country can only happen under a united world, one global country and one global leader, then the people will turn in on the country and destroy the Peace and going back to smaller things and local regional leaders.
It is all a cycle we can't escape from you just have to appreciate the Peace you have now no matter how unstable it might be

Here's a wild theory, if Shikamaru became Hokage before Naruto, he would have found out about Kara and dismantle them before they became too dangerous and every Kawaki, Boruto and Kara storyline wouldn't be happening because he's just that cynical. He would never believe true peace is set in stone.

I'd say people are inherently greedy and selfish for the most part. That greed and selfishness leads to conflict. Whether it's chakra or technology people will battle.
The only way that peace can be created at this point is if everybody creates a village to become one without much hindrance
Just imagine that instead of the 5 great nations you have the 1 great nation and the 5 kage act as a council to run this one nation.
