Hi, A nicely balanced layout, very natural and beautifully detailed. The realism is inspiring. Very well done ! My only - very personal - remark is: I don't like the fascia contouring partly blocking the- view- into the scene. Success & thanks for sharing.
I agree sadly I build what my client wants.. This is a take on The late Peter denney layout called layton buzzard.. So it had to be this way.. Please pop over to Facebook and follow me in more detail..( Tunnel Lane Model Railways ). Thanks again Dan..
I've used three task lamps from Native Lighting on my 11 foot long layout, and the difference is amazing. I agree with your comments about point rodding; I thought about it but decided that there were too many impracticalities with it. One serious omission I've made is catch points, why I didn't think of them at the outset I just can't explain, but with track ballasted and glued down I can't face disturbing it any more. Thanks for all the tips and explanations, Dan, much appreciated. I keep thinking of making a YT film of Hartley Wintney. I hope to exhibit at the Bracknell Railway Society show in October and Maidenhead next January. Orleton Road is lovely, the owner should have years of pleasure from it.
Stunning
Lovely work, is the coaling stage supposed to be that far back from the shed siding?
Wonderful work Dan, very interesting video, thanks for sharing 👍😊
Dan, that looks awesome (as all your builds do!) Top job, and thanks for the shout-out!

Wow, super realistic 👍
Hi. How much would a layout like this cost Dan ? Rough guide.
Could a layout of this size be commissioned to ship to the United States?
I guess so.. I'm not sure how much shipping would-be.. By all means drop me an email at Tunnellanemodelrailways@hotmail.com
Cheers Dan
Great layouts but it looks like we are viewing then through the letterbox of a door ,
Oh yes that's weird.. Noted for next time..
