Glad you mentioned the car! I was going to suggest some kind of wash to dull the paint and maybe some dusty looking brushing around the wheel spats and bottom of the body from the dirty track :)
Excellent model but the ends of the check rails and common crossings (frogs) seem to be to set a at a much greater angle than usual on full size, much of the angle is actually created by chamfering one edge. Perhsps check a few preserved railway videos?
On one point ['scuse the pun] you are right - the angle of check rail ends is excessive, but that is Peco's fault, not nthe builders - indeed the widening of the check gauge on the real thing is in two stages. However you are mistaken about 'chamfering' [actually called planing] which was only done with flatbottom rail, as the foot was much more resistant to bending, not to bullhead rail as in these points.
Thanks for the kind words. Little Burford backscene is detachable... If you are on Facebook please pop over to my page and view Little Burford with out it's indoor back scene facebook.com/groups/tunnellanemodelrailways/?ref=share
What is that track? - It does not look like the standard Peco flexi-track I used 30 years ago? Sleepers look flatter with more distance between them. More realistic in a way.
vey nice, but one irritant - you are OVIOUSLY not Welsh, but in that language 'u' is pronounced 'ee', and as the proprietor of Modelu has publicly stated, Modelu is pronounced Modelee - actually simply meaning 'models'!
Beautiful modelling. Very realistic I love the coal office with its weathering and lighting.
Really like this little layout, well done.
Stunning Dan! You have produced every single element of this wonderful layout beautifully. Inspirational stuff. Your client should be chuffed to bits.

As always, very nicely done mate.
I must get back onto my 4mm end to end layout soon.
Seeing what you've done has reignited my mojo.
Awesome James.. Get cracking mate!!
Glück Auf,
Schaut klasse aus!👍
Very nice indeed👍😊
Did you put the links in for the station platform/buildings?
Wonderful layout!

Amazing layout. Looks nice :) - Best regards Nordic Tram
Very nice work, but feel it would benefit a lot from a suitable photo backscene.
