I am truly blown away by the precise articulation of each point - that's simply unmatched how concise each point is explained and that's why I can fully related to every single tip. I don't think grammaticaly speaking is correct to use yet with the simple past. You have to use the present perfect have you eaten yet?

This might be a difference between British and American English. In American English, it's perfectly grammatical to use "yet" with simple past 👍🏻 You can also use it for present, in cases like: "Is it ready yet?" or "Are we there yet?"
