- I ran a poll on my channel asking what my next video should be and it looks like more Xbox 360 backwards compatible games to play on the Xbox Series X won out!

Great list. Backwards compatibility is one of the man reasons why I respect Xbox because of the fact you can play games from multiple systems on on console and if you own the disc, there is no charge. Sony certainly did not do that. I would also love to see original Xbox games that play well on the Series X. BTW I also love how easy it is to stream games from your Xbox to any other PC or mobile device you have in your house.
Yea, it's awesome loading up older games on the newer console. Would love to see them do more down the line!

Loved the video: Blue Dragon was the first title I purchased and finished on the Series X. Great game - something every Xbox-owning JRPG fan owes himself to play.
There are also a fair number of 360 digital titles on the back-compat list - such as Blood Knights, Costume Quest (1 & 2), Outland, Sacred Citadel, Torchlight etc... A video on those would not be bad...

A list of backwards compatible games that aren’t available for purchase digitally would be great. Example: “Fear 1”. I think “Spec Ops: The Line” recently joined the lost.

I think it was literally just on sale digitally for like $5 so I grabbed it lol I didn't realize it was BC either!

A good list, always happy to see some older XBox games.
In case you might do a second list I really would like to add Spec Ops The Line and Enslaved which run very well on Series S/X
Small addition to Oblivion. If you got the 2-disc GotY edition with DLCs on the second disc, the DLCs wont run on the Series X sadly. Unfortunately the same for Mafia II. Unless they have patched it recently, would need to double check to be fair 😅
They haven't patched it yet, but thanks for the reminder! Spec Ops The Line is awesome, and recently de-listed as well.

So sad they delisted Spec Ops. I got it 3x (Disc Xbox, digital Xbox and Steam Disc) and you can still download it in case you got the digital Version.
Unfortunately Spec Ops became a victim of its own Plot Twist. They never had a chance to market it. Only chance would have been spoiler the main idea which wasn't an option and market it as war shooter was wrong as well 🤔 But thankfully they took the risk and it reached a lot of Fans even though it wasn't the financial success it deserved.

Do you need to keep the disc inserted ? What about offline mode do these work on Series X 100% offline after downloading an emulation data ? Thanks
For physical BC you need to keep the disc in. If you have your Xbox set to offline mode you can still play.
I own most of those games on the list except the wrestling game and rage

I played Rage 2 late last year. If it is like that it will be fun.
First Rage is way different and made by id Software. 2nd is fun but more open world @@user-wi3tc1ek8f

I meant Quake, but it's such a small detail I'm not sure it matters honestly. I do these videos for fun, and they seem to go over well. In fact I've spent hundreds of dollars and make nothing back. So perhaps cut me some slack? Been at this for like 6 months only.

Now they own them why MS just put out a 4k patch for all the older COD campaigns just like they did with Gears of War trilogy is beyond me, they shoot themselves in the foot does old MS, they should have proper exclusives as well then port to PC, in working order, in a year or two, mad strategy.
It's a bit of a weird strategy because Sony still pays to keep games off Xbox, so it's strange that Xbox actually puts games they own on PlayStation. It actually reduces competition.
This gens sales make no sense to me when Xbox is letting us play so many old gen games on the new consoles. That’s the best exclusive ever for me. Bunch of Sony fanboys

Region issues? Honestly the backwards compat stuff is just emulated. You put in the disk and it downloads the game.
i picked up lost odyssey, for the second time, about a year ago ... but, i hadn't noticed, at the time, that it was PAL ... to my surprise, it installed and played great! i thought i must have tried to install it to the series x. but, i guess not because after seeing your video, here, i tried and it's installing now and i assume it will pay great, too! thanks for giving me all sorts of ideas this morning :P at least that idea didn't hit my wallet ...
