After years of playing strictly solo/duo at most, I finally joined 5 guilds (3 paid traders) and listed a bunch of random stuff and found great success in it. My favorite way so far is to max alchemy on all 7 of my toons (including reagent traits) and doing their writs every day. I usually get at least 4 alchemy master writs a day and then throw those up on my traders for 1k gold per voucher. The dailies give plenty of gold to keep the traders every month and then the writs sell for a ton too :)
I joined PC NA a month ago. I always had trouble making gold on ps4, back when I played the game a lot in like 2016-2019. I've made my first million, and plan to use it to flip stuff, etc. for a relatively passive stream of income, bc all I want to do is actually play pvp. I hate grinding for stuff and would drop gold on items in a heartbeat if I only had it, so.. If anyone reading this is newer player, and coming to these guides to find a relatively quick, simple way to build a base of gold, I f'n gotchu, mira - 2 things I did - I farmed for potent nirncrux to sell, and I sold jewelry mats from deconstructing jewelry that I collected just from playing pvp, dungeons, etc. Idk if this is effective on console. Prices are different you know? But rn, on PC NA, potent nirn is like avg 70-75k on the market, and a purple jewelry plating is like 120 I think. I got lucky a few days ago farming potent nirn, I got 2 in 30 minutes. That's 150k, minus Guild taxes. I made a million in 2 weeks, playing very casually, busy with work. Guys, and once you have a million, go ask someone else for advice because I'll probably blow all of this shit instead of investing it properly, we shall see, but hopefully somebody likes this idea and it helps them out.
More great information! One thing I have done consistently to make gold is craft furnishings. I peek in on various FB housing groups and reddit for what people are looking for, then I go craft it and sell it. Alot of people are not crafters but love housing, and they want stuff for their houses. Selling crafted furnishings can bring in alot of gold. With Halloween approaching my sells are way up for furnishings. People are looking for housing stuff because of all the contests and giveaways for Halloween. Crafting and selling furnishings is how I made my first million. :)
I really like to craft, so I look a builds for beginners which usually use some crafted armor and then I make those items. Also, I would add Deshan as an area to do chest runs. Mother's Sorrow still sells well.
I have 100 percenting zones and I have really been enjoying the game lately I’m just playing with 1 character. Lot less sweaty as when I was on a trial team progin 3 nights a week. Plus it’s been really nice switching from cod not getting hacked on anymore. Also not getting caught up in rank and spending rl money on tourney’s.
Daily Writs is my go to. Almost 45k daily plus material sales. Many people don’t understand ESO has its own stock market lol. There are so many items in elder scrolls knowing what they saw for and went to is huge! I’ve no doubt lost some gold because of under pricing just one item!? Yup I LOVE MY CROWN SELLERS!!! ✌️😁🍁
You pretty much said what I have been preaching for years but I would like to mention a little philosophy here and that is it’s not what you make but what you save and what I mean by that is as a newer player you will spend a ton of money on upgrade mats and glyphs but if you do your writs you won’t be spending your gold on that. In the beginning of everyone’s eso life gold is hard to come by and you feel like you need so much but if you do what jake here says and have some patience you will acquire everything you need without spending gold for most of it. There will be a time when all of a sudden you realize you don’t have much use for gold anymore once you get enough sets and cosmetics and it can make the game pretty boring so just have patience. One more thing I would like to mention is it’s not a bad idea to sell gold. I know it’s controversial but it’s something your allowed to do and in my opinion is way more worthwhile to work an extra hour at work and make 10 times the amount you would make in game so you can spend that time just doing what you want rather than sitting at a fishing hole for 10 hours or something lame like that.
I do random stuff to make money when im bored, the other day i noticed a stack of fish meat was selling the same as a stack of fish. So i started buying the fish and filleting them all. I got 3-5 perfect roe each stack and making my money back by selling the fish meat.
I play for fun all the time I enjoy the events dailies and doing stuff with guildies like dragon slaying dungeons trials and more the most gold I ever made in 1 week was a little over 500k but I take my time and walk practically everywhere collecting Matt's witch gave me over 500 kuta I didn't need that many so I crafted gold glyphs to sell
I don't have high isle, what is the next best place to do daily quests when trying to find something to sell for big money? I hear you say it's typically newest DLC to oldest DLC but I'm new and don't know which one came out when.
@@Official_JakeClips I do it with rare motifs, for example if I have 3 copies of dreadsails helms I only list 1 at a time at an appropriate price. I've noticed if I list 2 or 3 of them at the same time they take much longer to sell.
I've been playing for 2 weeks now, love the game, but I think you don't even realize that you already had your first milliom because of all bag and bank upgrades. That shit is brutal ))
I dread to think how much stuff I've sold to NPCs just to clear my inventory that could've been profitable at guild traders 😅 For some reason I always thought it's just for max crafters etc., but going to give it a go, thanks :)
Servers stayed up; I was on all day. It was Xbox live that went down. After a while I looked around and saw hardly anybody at wayrest nor vivec city. 😂
What's so valuable from heists? Seems to be hugely differing opinions on this. Majority of people say they are absolutely worthless and don't waste your time. Then some content creator will just casually say "you can make tons of gold off heists cause no one wants to do them" and not explain.
Sorry in this video I don’t talk about them as much versus my daily quest video. But they give motifs and the set that drops from the (S Scales) sells fairly well :)
If you're in a free trading guild you're not selling anything pay the 20k weekly dues for a top trader stuff sells fast and in there major cities where alot of people are or go it's like a shopping centre rents high because of high foot traffic
lmao, i have no idea what you are talking about! daily battles? what? wars? where? only dailies ive found so far, lvl 22 lol, are on those boards for things i can make, but i dont know what the ingredients are to make them, havent researched that yet either. so the only auctions are for guilds? no freaking public auctions? well except in chat maybe? weird game. Now you are on dragons, saying how much, but you dont say how! where does the coins come from, how do you get them, sell something? yeah ok im moving on.....
Hope your weekend was great everyone!! And the servers being down didn’t delay you getting your stuffs done
Can you gift me gold please

I did that back in the golden age of mat farming. Now potents are like 20K and purple plating is like 1K lol

Sold Gold Gallant Mail from a that one quest for $250K. It's crazy :) Great tips as always Jake! Thank you!
I been making good money flippin motifs and items. Thanks for the knowledge
Gold guides like these have been so helpful to help get my gold stores up 🤭
Didn't know that about the dragons that's good knowledge
Another awesome video!!!
Always cracks me up how you pronounce motif.
I’ve been flipping items for the whole undaunted event and have made about 3-4mil. Not the morally best way but oh well.

Thanks for all your tips
Any time!

Wow I do that, when I have multiple of the same item, I just list 1 of them at a time until its sold then replace it with the same again.
I do it a lot sometimes too but it delays your profits a lot sadly if possible diversify your listings :)

Just found that dragon slaying for the dailies does not share between northern and southern elsweyr
Where do you play on? You can kill dragons in either zone on Xbox
Man worms are really expensive on the box. I wonder if it is more lucrative to sell bait. They are 10 k for 200 rn.

It’s from the briarheart set :)
