So glad I checked out this video!!! The masking tape vinyl top is an eye opener for me, I knew there had to be a simple way to make it. Thank you again for all your videos.
Cool! When you get to building the 'next' '39 -'40 Ford may I suggest taking a 1/8" 'pie' slice out of the nose of the hood. If your build has any rake to it this will enhance the overall look tremendously. You'll probably need to cut right where the chrome strip is so choose your location well if you want to keep it. It is so worth the extra effort. My green '39 with the blond has been altered. Look at all the awards you've collected! Nice going!
Just love what you did with the Willys! am an old guy now, retired and still can't get hot rods n customs outa my head, so here we go back into modelling! really looking fwd to the challenges of tricking the eye! loved that Masking Tape vinyl roof! that's clever!
Went back and started watching your early videos. First seen on on Andy's RUclips channel. I'm a nascar fan also and I did join the jr club because of your videos.
it's really cool seeing your old bills man you do an awesome job I appreciate your time and effort you put in all your videos my favorite all-time favorites is the 41 Willys Gasser the Revell model and 62 Corvette Revell Gasser Corvette
Thanks Howard. The bench is cleared and we are already going on some new things....or, I might be just dreaming. Anyways, you will see in the next episode. LOL! Thanks a ton for your support!
Love those '40 Fords and' 41 Willy gasser! That's the plan for my '41 Plymouth, turn it into a gasser, bought a blown 392 Hemi and some suitable whitewalls! Just need to get parts to raise it up off the ground....
Pretty kool '40 Fords Luka Cee. There must be something magical in the US that makes the 40 such a much modeled car. As a foreigner I dont get it, much preferring like any other Ford Coupe` now the 40 has been done to death. Lets encourage the kit makers to start out with the 1935 Ford Coupe`and keep on going until they reach 1946-48 Ford coupe models and sedans. What do you say to that as a plan? Do you reckong any of the kit makers will go for that? Nha, I don't reckon they will either.
You the man!! love your work! questions....need help. In the camaro build you said this is a Revell kit? true? I HAVE to have those wheels to complete a 68 Firebird that my mom once owned. LOL. Where they part of that kit or aftermarket? Also, you mention using "automotive clear". Have you done an episode explaining more on that process? Thanks
I plan on doing a full video on paint one day. The wheels on that Camaro csme out of the Revell Big John Mazmanian 41 Willys Gasser kit. Hope that helps. Thanks for the support.
