Man I like how positive you are. Please keep your great work out there. I'm so passionate about the military life, and I praying about this for 2 years now. My wife and I want this. I'm a pastor myself since 2017, finished my master in pastor ministry (48 credits, yeah I know). I did try to contact a Navy chaplain recruiter but I never get a answer back. I choose the Navy because of the opportunity to serve around the globe and the differents environments. So I'm think if God is telling me to wait or not to take this way. I feel the call, but at the same time... ... I just don't want to go somewhere without God's approval. Any way. I know He will answer our prayers. You're doing great brother
Thank you for the encouragement. Keep praying :) Its worth check with the Army and Air Force too. There are lots of family overseas locations as well. Keep me informed on the progress! Blessings!
Thanks so much brother I appreciate this advice and this was content I have been seeking. I continue to chip away at completion of my M.Div. in Chaplaincy at Liberty University. I have continued to improve on my PT and started some ruck training. I will add these 5 along with general orders to my knowledge tool box to pull from. I have stayed in contact with our NC National Guard Chaplain leadership as well as have been contacted by the Navy Chaplain recruiter who both have been supportive of an age waiver once I have my degree complete. I pray you and your family are well and keep content coming. Be blessed and be a blessing.
I appreciate all the videos, thank you for taking the time to share. With everything that's going on in the world, I've been getting very discouraged but God has called me to continue to tread the storm. God bless you
Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. Exodus 15:1 “I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.
Can you help me understand the difference here. Are chaplains responsible for spiritual rituals based off of their endorsement or ordination. Meaning if I’m a dual ordained Christian & pagan but am endorsed by a Protestant endorser which type of service do I practice or both?
That is def a interesting situation; the endorser would speak to the left and right limits of your ritual/liturgical practices, as they are the one “sending” you to the Army and vouching for your ministry.
Is there anything that you think a chaplain should memorize? Let us know!

As for Scripture, Psalm 23, would be very useful to memorize!
Great suggestion!
Hey so glad you're back!
Thank you! It's been too long...Life sometimes gets busy 😂
Welcome back, Chap!
Thank you!!

Awesome to hear the progress. Little by little! Thank you for the encouragement!
Knowing the general orders could help to relate to the soldiers, but I was enlisted first and going into CCP next year 😊 thanks for the advice!
Yes! I forgot about those…it’s been a minute! Blessings on your CCP journey!
