  • Well, we moved last summer and that meant I had to dismantle the Port Grace and Barnstable layout. First, one final running session with the two trains that started it all for me! All settled into the new house now and a new layout is in the works... stay tuned!

I have old Lionel. I have never so much as handled an old S scale train. These look awesome!

Thanks Terry! Old S gauge Flyer is a lot of fun to fix up and run, especially the steamers. The diesels are great too once they're in running order, but can be a bit of a challenge to work on. Both types have great 'stage presence' on the track.

@@pauls-train-asylum-581 as an involved theatre guy I get what you mean about stage presence.

Why all the Lionel transformers and strange consists

Hi Michael! Transformers were picked up second-hand and have served me well for years. As for the consists, the Silver Bullet loco, tender and passenger coaches were sold together as a set. The Comet diesel is pulling a couple of red passenger coaches because I like the look of them. Stay well... Paul
