I could eat persimmons all day. I like to bake them into bread and I dearly love persimmon pudding.

A beautifully relaxing video! I harvested several pounds of American Persimmon seeds to grow trees. I'm not much of a coffee drinker either but will have to try this! Thank you for sharing...

We have several wild American persimmon trees on our property. I've resolved to use the seeds, so thank you for this vid! And with the possibility of coffee going up in price or getting scarce due to climate change, etc, this is a great alternative.

I know of a nice Persimmon tree with fruit that I will now have to revisit just to grab some seeds if any are left. I am ready to try this :) thank you again for the wonderful video

Another cool thing to know. Thanks for making this. I was happy to see you used a Kelly Kettle! I’ve had one for years and love it. I also love the setting. Right by the river - beautiful.

Awesome series, Creek! In these videos, it’s like you’re one part Mr. Rogers and one part Lacota Sioux elder... very cool, very present, and very welcome.

Your video last week reminded me of a tree my uncle used to have that I would raid when we visited. Inspired me to order a couple trees to plant on my place.

Lil bit of decadence with your wild craft coffee. Milk and honey?
Really liked your little spoon and cup. Think a mortar and pestal might help the process.

I tried the Dandelion coffee and it tasted worse than dirt!
I'm betting it taste just like burnt Persimmons Seeds.

Very nice videos. And it appears that you've mastered caring for the flesh. However...no matter how much we try...the flesh will pass away one day. But, it's our soul that lives on.
Maybe it's time to consider feeding that soul of your's, as well, Mr. Creek? We only get one ya know.🤔❤️
Beginning to read in: The Gospel of John, will allow, Jesus, to enlighten your understanding of Salvation through Repentance for our sin. Spending our eternity WITH, God and Jesus...and not sadly without.
You'll be thankful that, Jesus, did this for us!
May, God, get the glory here for these nice videos. Through, His Son..
The Gospel of John, when you're ready, Creek and other Readers here, too.❤️

AFAIK the only civil war coffee substitute with caffeine was brewed yaupon. Not sure if mixing with roated persimmon seed and/or chicory root made it more like coffee ...
