At 75 years of age I stumbled across Correct Toes and natural footwear. I’ve been at it for about 3 months and the aches and pains I’ve had from my lower back down to my feet have essentially disappeared. My foot neuropathy has mitigated, as well. I’m a believer.
Ray, Thank for this clear description of what we need to be teaching all podiatrists, doctors, and shoe retailers. Runners and walkers are discovering this stuff themselves and we need the professionals to get it also. I have uncorrectable foot deformities like most and now run pain free thanks to the Correct Toes product. Keep the message alive! Dr. Mark Cucuzzella
Just went all in on zero drop shoes and correct toes. You’ve helped me see the light of proper foot health, and after just one week my feet feel more stable, my Achilles tendinitis from running is gone, and I feel much stronger in the lower leg.
It is quite amazing isn't it? I just got some Lems and correct toes and metatarsal pads, and I'm so surprised at how much better my feet feel. Also doing Egoscue's exercises for feet, though. But, it makes so much sense. How are you doing these days?
Thank you Dr Ray McClanahan for putting your heart and soul to help us to cure our foot deformities caused by ignorance and ill-fitting, ill-designed foot-wear. Thank you for sharing the insightful, honest to goodness, really marvelous articles by Dr William Rossi. I read all these and looked more on the internet for Dr William Rossi's writings.
Dont' we know it! Man, I've been wearing mine now for a couple weeks, and got some Lems shoes and some Sanduks.... My feet feel so good. I'm also doing Egoscue's exercises for feet and hips and things are doing really well.
@@correcttoesThank you so much. Malaysian dealer out of stock. While waiting for stock arrival, I wear Japanese version where separator looks smaller.I worry Correct Toe cannot go into my leather shoe with wider toe box.Can you recommend which type of female shoe can accommodate Correct Toe ?

Doc, Based on what you said about weight bearing and pronation, do you think it would not be a good idea to cut out a portion of the sock/shoe liner at the 5th metatarsal head for Tailor's bunion ?
You're not the first with the same idea. Came across a web-site of a man who gave up wearing fashionable shoes for walking but took apart a pair of flip-flops and re-strapped it into something he calls "un-shoe". Vibrams (5-finger shoe) is an example of an "un-shoe" or footwear that looks like a foot. Shoes and orthotics (supporting arches and pads) are major industries. They generate a lot of profit selling you stuff. Takes an alternative practitioner to shake up the medical establishment.
I have flat foot and starting having a bit of a bunion...would this help? I started using something similar (silicon toe separator) and seems to have helped.
So do you believe in this theory of encouraging toes to be more abducted? And do you buy into these products? I'm considering buying these alternative but not yet sure since there is little info on them.
Problem is doctors want to prescribe these when it’s time for surgery. They do it just to get rid of you. Sometimes correct toes works for people but sometimes not
@@correcttoesThis is selling price at China Tao Bao .I am Malaysian.I bought from their China website , ship from China to Malaysia. All are leather shoe at very cheap price. My left feet a bit serious Big toe bend and touching 2nd toe if I am not wear 5 toe sock. However 2 , 3, 4 ,5 toe still remain straight. I am considering no bone breaking surgical call Syndesmosis bunionectomy and will visit Malaysian Dr soon. However,One of the TCM nearby my office advised me not to consider surgical since no pain but do frequency feet exercise to strengthen muscle of big toe. At home she want me stop wearing slipper but walk with big toe pressing hard on floor for every step . Surgical rest may affect my increment and bonus although I only have 2 years plus to reach retirement. As I want to retire on time without extend my service after 60 , I hope to have better earnings within these 2 years.Your valuable advice is highly appreciated.

Dr at which degree of deformity big toe can be corrected ? Mine big toe slanting and toching 2nd toe .2nd toe and others remain straight no bending .
If you can manually realign your big toe away from the others, it can be corrected. How long it will take is completely dependent on the individual.

What is the difference between the Original, Aqua, and Plum? just the color of design?
Also, how does one utilize the Strengthening Hacky?
I wear Lone Peak Altras for running. Is this a good shoe?
If it passes the shoe liner test for you, then yes! It is considered a great shoe for its shape, width, 0 drop characteristic, and flexibility.
Great, thanks! Wishing you excellent foot health.

+calva88 Correct Toes will help to realign toes, which when used with a zero drop shoe, helps create a natural arch and strengthen your foot.
Bought "correct toes" a few days ago and am excited.

Where can I buy correct toes? The website seems to have been down the last few days, and they are unavailable on Amazon.
Would correct toes help a 16 year old?
Yes, definitely!
Do you have website?
@Znieh15 Our website is back up an running. Sorry for the inconvenience!

This can be true! The same can be said for the reverse. It is best to provide patients with all their options to find out what works for them.

Thanks for sharing! We're always interested in new footwear.
