- We arrive at our first campsite in the Netherlands, Valkenburg Maastricht Camping of the City Kamp group. We take a daytrip on the train from Valkenburg to Maastricht and walk around the city. We take a look around the campsite at the different types of camping.

Hi Trev and Sue, a nice trip on the train, they look very clean and looked after. A lovely town and amazing buildings. The river looked very picturesque with the buildings lining it. I been to the Birmingham NEC a couple of times to see Andre Rieu. The atmosphere is great and he puts on a very good show. I'm sure though it must be even better to see him perform in his home town. Great video thank you both.

Looked a great site, their holiday season is a lot shorter than ours. The trains are Good and plenty of public transport. Cheers Phil and Juliet
Yes, seems strange that as soon as the schools open, the campsites are very quiet and they close by the end of October. Public transportation in Europe is so much better than the UK. There’s something we could learn there I think 🙂 Netherlands is a great country to tour. We visit Delft in a few days time. Thanks for watching P&J, safe travels 😃👍🏻💙 Trev

Hi Trev and Sue an excellent video as ever and so glad to hear you enjoyed valkenburg and Maastricht it brought many happy memories back for me from holidays with family we stayed at the hotel op de bord in valkenburg loved the town and castle and the market in the grotto and then Maastricht and the trip on the river it’s such a pretty place isn’t it
Would love to see Andre Rieu there my mother in law has and she said it was amazing! We saw him at the NEC arena in Birmingham not the same but a great evening so glad you all had a great day! Thank you Daniel, sounds like you have some amazing memories. We didn’t see much of Valkenburg sadly but it’s a good reason for us to go back at some point. Andre Rieu was one of Sue’s dad’s favourites and he introduced us to the concerts on tv. We would watch them together and chuckle at the enjoyment of all the musicians and crowd 😃💙 Trev
