Ooh! Do a spa day for your brushes, and just have a sit and chat while you clean them, and just make it chill. I mean, whatever you do, I'm here for it!! 🥰
First I just wanted to let you know that I believe that tray is for a cheeseball. It would've had a glass dome that went over the middle circle, when it was new. Anyway, this piece is really striking! I don't want to show this to my sister, who loves moths, because she would probably make me create something similar to hang in her new house...lol
I love this moody moth!!!! I would love to see it turned into a sticker or a print or both. It would make an excellent embellishment or envelope seal!! I love your artwork❣️
The last.thing I painted was a purple dahlia for my friend in the hospital. I like the moth, the dark background reminds me of those specimen cases. I think making your own art for your home is great. It's more meaningful and you can really make things to your own taste.
That is GORGEOUS ❤❤ I bet something written in that bronze paint above the center would look cute too! Something like Family, Wonder, Love. I'd REALLY love to see you make something with your words you so often remind us with, to have grace with ourselves. I've heard you say that in my mind many times when i start thinking something i made isn't good enough. Thank you for everything, you are a wonderful, genuine person ❤❤
Wow! My husband and I love to go thrifting and now I want to get back to Goodwill and find a serving tray to paint! lol Thank you for sharing your process with us!
I love looking for used frames. Sometimes I LIKE the grungy ones. However, some sandpaper and spray paint is a fast way to get a clean look. I also like the frames with glass. However, I like a bit larger frames because I LOVE using mats. I have my own mat-cutting system, so no worry if the frame is an odd size. Keep thrifting!
I think your tray once had a glass dome in the centre. Your artwork is stunning and a wonderful transformation for this piece of art. I would love it in many places in my own home, so I'm sure you are delighted with it too. The copper edges really lift the piece.
Still waiting to see an ocean scene with fish and corals and plants. Oh how I've been waiting to see your take on that because I think you will do an amazing job . Love your videos
I really like the simplicity of the moth against the dark background and the copper accents makes it look really antique. Its almost like it could have been hanging in an old mansion or on a table with glasses around the edge of it and the bottle of whiskey or gin in the center. Although the tray is actually a teak wood charcuterie board so more for cheeses, crackers, and meats ect. It had a glass cloche with it as well. CotD: I actually painted a multimedia portrait of a friend's dog as a gift.
It's AWESOME! I love thrift stores too. Love the way you make others aware of the importance of being kind to ourselves. You're accepting nature inspires us to let our imaginations play without expectations! Thank You!
I only chose this vid BECAUSE I saw the one where you came back from the thrift store with it. I immediately thought of sand-papering it and filling the outer circle with macramee, and making a cat silhouette for the center raised circle... I was very curious to see what would you paint on it. glam and moody is original. it absolutely came up awesome! I would say it's definitely anthropologie worthy 🤭
I took my oldest(8)ABC space canvas print and changed it into a forest ABCs for my little one(2). You've totally inspired me to try painting moths! They look like a fun challenge!
Oh man, this is super pretty!! I really love the style you went for with it. Your color choices was great, and you definitely pulled off the illustrative style you were going for with the moth. At the end when you were showing it off, something about it was giving the moth a bit of a 3D effect which I think is really cool. I'm guessing it was something about the mix of matte and gloss finishes. And to answer the question: Rocks! I'm currently painting rocks, actually. They're for the Kindness Rocks project (hiding painted rocks around in public for people to find). It started in 2017 iirc and has died off a little now, but I've kept on doing it because it's so fun.
Wow, that’s gorgeous! I especially like the moth. Last thing I painted are some flowers, but I planned on some other things, already done the sketches. Now finding the confidence to actually start.
It turned out so pretty! I really love the vines in the „background“, kinda looks like vintage wallpaper to me and it matches the overall piece so well 💖
Great moth design!! I think if you shadowed the moth and added some color, it would look like a real moth that was an entomology piece. Just a thought.
Wow, Mira!!! I can totally see this design of art as a mouse pad or stickers or coasters! your moths are the BEST! Great job with this thrifted piece of ART! You're amazing! Kelli
Moths have been a big phobia (Lepidopterophobia) of mine all my life, and I mean screaming, running, crying and shutting myself in wardrobes phobic. I can't even see one on television or in a book without getting a physical fear response. I definitely had to miss some of your earlier moth videos 😨 Now I kind of want to paint one myself! 😮 I still can't look at references of real moths so I'm not sure if it will ever actually happen, but I do now see beauty in your paintings of them . I think this one is my favourite so far ❣Thank you!
I just finished painting seasonal art and scenes on some old wood signs I had previously painted to put vinyl lettering on and I just had the urge to paint instead so I did :) I sell them in my store front and they go over well with buyers :)
I think this is gorgeous! :) last thing I painted was a big canvas at work, to turn into our kindergarten group's birthday calendar... painted it dark grey, it will turn into a parking lot 😅😅
This most likely came with a glass cloche at one point and may have had a terrarium style interior with preserved butterflies on a branch, or something. I love the way you upcycled it!
That turned out so good! It’s giving those dark botanical wallpaper vibes 😻 You could totally pair it with some faux taxidermy and oddities in cloches 🤔 for a spooky vintage Halloween look
Yay! I love thrift makeovers!💕 Well, to answer your question: the last thing I painted on was a custom art doll for Halloween 😊 I even made a video out of the process.
That turned out.really good and definitely your style. As soon as I saw the top view a fountain with koi in it took up residence in my head. I unfortunately don't have the talent to give it life lol
I've always loved your art and enjoy watching you create things from your sketchbook ideas to that stunning water painting behind you. This one is just beautiful!! Love everything about it ....and that copper acrylic!! Mwah 👌😁
Comment of the day- the last thing I painted is a cat! I’m on a cat painting journey. Speaking of journey, I think I’ll try June’s Journey! I love, love, love your videos!

Who else thinks she is super underrated 👇🏻

What?! Wow, I love cheeseballs so I really hope that’s what this was for lol!
Yes, that’s what it’s for!! The channel around the outside is for the crackers!
@@MiraByler it's definitely for a cheeseball. Dome in the center and the crackers would have gone around the outside. VERY 70s. My parents had one.
The copper paint really pops…it turned out awesome!
I love your art, Mira! You inspire me to step out of my comfort zone and create something important I would have never created otherwise!
I love this moody moth!!!! I would love to see it turned into a sticker or a print or both. It would make an excellent embellishment or envelope seal!! I love your artwork❣️

I love it!! I think the vines around the outside was the perfect touch!! It is what I had pictured when you showed the finished moth!!
That is GORGEOUS ❤❤
I bet something written in that bronze paint above the center would look cute too! Something like Family, Wonder, Love.

This looked amazing! What a transformation! Loved the vines! Really brought it all together!
Wow! My husband and I love to go thrifting and now I want to get back to Goodwill and find a serving tray to paint! lol

Wow this is beautiful! I thought it was a chip and dip plate or platter but you turned it into art!
Never seen anything like it!
So cool! Very "Dark Academia!" 😍
How beautiful! That moth comes out of the piece! Thank you for sharing!
This so by far my favourite painting you’ve ever done. I find every time you step out of your comfort zone you create incredible things!
Would definitely fit into any dark academia setting. Lovely!!
Gorgeous! The way the subject in the center is supported by the vines. It just works together *so well!*
IT. LOOKS. SO. GEORGEOUS!! Can't handle this 🥺
6:32 wow, you have hardly done anything yet but it’s already looking so gorgeous! 😊🩷
Its the base for a glass terrarium. Very cool
Love what you did with that tray. Definitely looks like it should be hung in a fancy study or library.

With how soft and smooth your voice is and how positive you are... Definitely giving me Bob Ross vibes! Love it!
Mira!!! It's Beautiful!!! What a beautiful piece for your home, love it!!
It's AWESOME! I love thrift stores too. Love the way you make others aware of the importance of being kind to ourselves. You're accepting nature inspires us to let our imaginations play without expectations! Thank You!
The second I saw your wood piece I was hoping you’d paint a moth! They are my favorite thing you paint! You’re so good at it❤️
I am always on the lookout when thrifting for opportunities to upcycle!
That's really lovely! You should be proud to hang that on your wall.😊
I only chose this vid BECAUSE I saw the one where you came back from the thrift store with it. I immediately thought of sand-papering it and filling the outer circle with macramee, and making a cat silhouette for the center raised circle...

Aww, thank you!! Anthropologie is one of my favorite stores (to window shop from) haha!
Love your moody moth design 🦋 Well done. Great upcycling and art designs.

I absolutely LOVE everything about this! I'm a big fan of moody art, moths, and giving thrifted items a new life. So this video was totally my jam! 🖤
This piece is absolutely stunning! The color pallet is gorgeous. I love your videos!!

I really like this, that moth looks brilliant 👏
I love how this one turned out.
Wowzer! I wasn’t sure where you were going but the final product is beautiful!!!!
Wow, that’s gorgeous! I especially like the moth. Last thing I painted are some flowers, but I planned on some other things, already done the sketches. Now finding the confidence to actually start.
that copper is gorgeous 😍 this is such a stunning idea!
LOVE the moody moth! I never would have given a second look at that piece of wood, but now I want something like that in my house!
It turned out so pretty! I really love the vines in the „background“, kinda looks like vintage wallpaper to me and it matches the overall piece so well 💖
Great moth design!! I think if you shadowed the moth and added some color, it would look like a real moth that was an entomology piece. Just a thought.
Love it! It has a dark academia feel.
Hi, Mira! I love the way this tray came out. You are so awesome! Ciao, Erica

Lol they don’t bite, they’re cute little guys. You should look up pictures of fuzzy moths then maybe you won’t be so scared of them 😂
love it at first was not sure but when you added the vines it just finished it perfectly .
This turned out extremely beautiful !
I've been wanting to paint on thrifted stuff for a hot second!!!
So pretty!
The last thing I painted was my office room and I like to say it's 'white with a whisper of green' which goes perfect with my house plants 💚
I love your moths! This one is particularly beautiful, especially with the vines around it. Nice color choices.
This really turned out nice, I really like the vines. 😊
Simply gorgeous! I think you hit all the right notes - the matte background, the illustrative moth, the color palette - excellent!
I just finished painting seasonal art and scenes on some old wood signs I had previously painted to put vinyl lettering on and I just had the urge to paint instead so I did :) I sell them in my store front and they go over well with buyers :)
The moth piece turned out so cool! Absolutely love it!
It’s very dark academia style. Love this. At first I thought you were going to do a Deaths head moth.
Absolutely gorgeous. The way you done those vines put me in a calming mood 🙏🏼
Cool reuse idea! This is a cheese tray that usually comes with a glass cloche lid.
Unbelievable transformation
I think this is gorgeous! :)
last thing I painted was a big canvas at work, to turn into our kindergarten group's birthday calendar... painted it dark grey, it will turn into a parking lot 😅😅
Love this turn out it was so nice, wow you are creative and a inspiration 😊
This most likely came with a glass cloche at one point and may have had a terrarium style interior with preserved butterflies on a branch, or something. I love the way you upcycled it!
@MiraByler do a Q and A video while you clean your brushes!!!!
I love #June’sJourney !!
I think this is one of my favorite piece's you've done! Wow❤️
Wow I really like that!! You should make it into merch! ❤
would watch an aesthetic wash day!!!
I'm making a patchwork pumpkin that I'm painting. It's fun but it's very tedious. ❤❤❤
i really, really, really love this piece.
It is gorgeous. Congratulations.
That turned out so good! It’s giving those dark botanical wallpaper vibes 😻 You could totally pair it with some faux taxidermy and oddities in cloches 🤔 for a spooky vintage Halloween look
Maravillous, excellent❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That is so beautiful, I need to get some of that copper paint! Xx
So creative! I really enjoyed this.
Yay! I love thrift makeovers!💕
Well, to answer your question: the last thing I painted on was a custom art doll for Halloween 😊 I even made a video out of the process.
Very elegant!! 👍
That turned out.really good and definitely your style. As soon as I saw the top view a fountain with koi in it took up residence in my head. I unfortunately don't have the talent to give it life lol

Such a lovely piece

Thanks!
Thank you for sharing your talent with the world ❤
Thank you for your kind words! 💜
OMG I painted my nails the same exact way! Red with gold ring fingers
I wouldn’t mind seeing Brush Spa Day! My watercolor brushes are good. But my kid went to college and left me with dozens of her musty crusty ones!
I love it. I would be thrilled if I made that.
Right when u brought out the trivet I automatically new u were gonna paint a moth😁
murphy's soap is great for crusty brushes
that came out lovely
The last thing I painted was an abstract style New York skyline with a sunset
I think it’d be cute to put an animal in a sweater in the circle and then some sort of design on the outer ring
I love this piece. The moth appears to be 3-D!
This came out beautiful! What an inspiring video! ✨
Very pretty! =)
Omg this came out so so beautiful! I love it so much!!!!! I would definitely hang that up for sure!!! ❤
