showing the brig and Kate when the captain mentioned his name was well done, as a reminder to who he is, the brig's grand father by the way! Showing the 10th planet dvd cover at the beginning as a reminder as to what's happening was also well done. Great job
people tend to forget that, but without that first regeneration there would be no show, and the fact that that precious piece of footage still exists is very special.
Fantastic reactions! Shame Susan didn't return. I'm sad Peter Capaldi as left but its going to be interesting how this new version of Doctor Who will work out. Happy New Year to you all.
“Never eat Pears!” That’s a reference to the 7th Doctor’s rules he laid out for Bernice when he became human in the book Human Nature. David Tennent also said it in the episode adapted from the book but I think it was cut out. I’ve seen the footage on RUclips somewhere of him saying it though.
Matt smith climbed out of the tardis with a grappling hook. and fell out of it during the 50th. This time the Tardis actively threw Jodi out of the tardis and shook her out and ran off to go rebuild. O_O
Rubbish, as a viewer from day 1 I say he had the attitude of the time toward the opposite sex. He went from shyly naive to expecting his tea served. The 60's were not as enlightened as everyone thinks, Verity Lambert may have been the first female producer but the old attitudes still remained and was something she had to fight against at the BBC. When, in America, Roddenberry showed his first Star Trek pilot to a focus group he was amazed that women complained about the Enterprise having a female number 1 on the bridge. "Who does she think she is?" Was the response. Feminism was still in it's infancy, the wholesale burning of bras was in the future. How could Hartnell"s Doctor Who be anything else but a product of it's time? How can you expect a historically accurate yet also politically correct portrayal of the 1st Doctor?
LoriCiani But the first doctor wasn't from their time. He might have visited many times but that doesn't mean he has to care about those sort of things. Watch the episodes, he's never portrayed as a character that's gotten used to earths problems and nor is he seen to care at all.
The Restoration of Dr Who What, again? You didn't get that I have watched them from day one? For all the grand statements of the Doctor he still expected his tea. Even in the five Doctors the companions had to go off and prepare refreshments. The Doctor may be alien, but the writers are human and of their time.
LoriCiani Definitely not to the extend which is shown in Twice Upon a Time. None of the things he said about the opposite sex even remotely correlated to the original season.

It is fascinating watching the reaction videos in languages other than English. Connected globally via Doctor Who.
Brilliant reaction video. I can't speak French but I know you all thought Susan was about to appear, as were we. l've missed you guys.
susan was never in 10th planet, she left several stories before it, so she wouldnt be there!
julie everett I think they mean instead of Bill
@@TorsaWane Yes, exactly. It would have been fantastic for Susan to appear, seeing both the First and Twelfth Doctors before they regenerate.
@@TorsaWane that would have been wonderful
Thank you for a great reaction video and all the references to old episodes. That really helped a lot. You have certainly done your research. Merci.

Waited for this for ages. Thanks guys.
Love your reactions, guys, congrats.
Kiss from Brazil
I waited for your reaction. I love your joy and reaction to Dr Who. I cant wait for the next season to see you on it again :)
thank you for showing the first doctor original phrases
people tend to forget that, but without that first regeneration there would be no show, and the fact that that precious piece of footage still exists is very special.
I never know what you are saying but I am always entertained by your reaction. Good to watch. Shame we have to wait for what happens next.
Excellent reaction video keep them coming
I lost it at
“Ah, shut up!”
Fantastic reactions! Shame Susan didn't return. I'm sad Peter Capaldi as left but its going to be interesting how this new version of Doctor Who will work out. Happy New Year to you all.
paul richards it isn’t technically a new version it’s a new era very clear difference of the two just saying.
YAY I love your reactions. happy new year from Canada! Quebecois
Was not expecting French when I clicked on the vid
Thought I was stroking out till I read their channel name
Nice little subtle thing with the Doctor Who in the corner changing with the regeneration as well.
Love your reactions!
I love your reactions^^
Yeah!!! Great Reaction!!
Sweet! Great review guys! :D

I think it was in the portion of the recording he left for Martha that got sped through. When slowed down, it has the pear bit.
Did he say "shut up" at the beginning? 😂😂😂
That's the first time I have ever heard one of you speak English!
Matt smith climbed out of the tardis with a grappling hook. and fell out of it during the 50th. This time the Tardis actively threw Jodi out of the tardis and shook her out and ran off to go rebuild. O_O
Jelly babies - Tom Baker would be proud!
I didn't know you invited Jason Mamoha Aquaman over to watch as well
Like how your all eating jelly babies xD
You know what I dident even catch the doctor dances reference
Testimony in the Legal trial of "The History of all Life." Vs "The Tyrant." perhaps.
18:39 I HAVE THE POWER!
Intro recreates the 50th battle cry awesome
Génial
Special guest reactor, the french Jack Black!
The guy in the middle looks like Ion Hazzikostas
Munchiemox or bit like Gatiss
FINALLY!!!
Kind of bugs me that they listed William Hartnell as The Doctor but not Patrick Throughton in this...
Domihork he wasn’t credited in the tenth planet so from a continuity perspective it makes sense
yes, but they also used original 10th planet footage too, and they didnt credit him after the regeneration
Septembre 2018...
The guy in the middle kinda looks like Mark Gatiss
The first Doctor really never was like that. He didn't care about female and male use.
