You portray it as though the British didn’t want either side to have weapons but allowed a few through, which is completely inaccurate. The British actively taught, trained, and armed the Jewish population, while on the contrary, if a Palestinian was found with even a single bullet or shell casing, their home would be bombed and destroyed. My grandmother, who witnessed this firsthand, told me about it. This is the same tactic Israel uses today, framing the destruction of entire families as "collateral damage."
Yes this is true. The British dropped gas on the Arabian people throughout their Mandate.
