That was very informative into the point, but I wish you had explained what that Reslex meant and what putting it on Patient actually meant, you said you could put it up to three but what does three mean… I hope you made another video about it. 🤗
Thanks for the video. My machine is not ramping up and it’s set on APAP. It stays on a pressure of 4 throughout the night. From what I understand I should push the knob to turn it on and then press the ramp button to start the ramp. Al I missing something?
If you are auto with a minimum pressure of 4 it might not have to go up. However, you should ask your Dr about that to make sure it is set right I would say.
I have a Luna II Auto that is different. It is 'suppose' to upload the data via local cell tower automatically. It doesn't and I've gotten nothing but run around from the supplier, the respiratory therapist and one other player in the mix. Any ideas what is going on? I was sent to the app store, downloaded it but it keeps asking for a QR code which my display does not have. I've had two of the worst nights sleep in my life trying to use this machine.

I cannot get into the clinical menu by pressing ramp and knob. I need to turn off the Auto Off option and I cannot get to it. Nothing happens when I press the knob and ramp to open the clinical menu you show. I can only get to the set-up menu that shows Humidifier at the top of the list.
I tried this at least a dozen times and it did not work! I gave up, left it alone for a while, just went back to try the ramp and then the knob and it worked! Amazing. Thank you. And why doesn't the Luna 2 manual show this trick!
What can happen to you if you set the settings higher. I feel like it’s too low and not working for me. I need to adjust it higher but everything I read or see says that you shouldn’t be changing the settings. Why not??!?
I'm just trying to figure out what's going on with my Luna 2. All of a sudden, over the last week its hard to exhale because it's so much pressure. The air used to be quiet, I had to feel to make sure it was on. Now the air is loud and forceful. It's like it's gone from a sweet summer breeze to a hurricane, if that makes sense.
In my clinical settings menu, it says " humidifier, ramp time, delay etc" , there is no option for " mode, min APAP, Auto on or off" . How can I get these options.
Thanks for the helpful video! How can I see how many hours I slept with the cpap on during a night? I do see something that says "compliance" but no explanations of what this means (I assume it's a minimum) or how to access actual hours slept. Hoping I don't have to fiddle with the card/ or some reader/cell phone, etc. to find this info. The compliance always shows 7 hrs. This is not particularly useful to me.
Ramp is the time that the machine will take to increase pressure from your "starting pressure" to your "therapy pressure". It is designed to give you time to fall asleep before you get the full Therapy Pressure from your CPAP.
My screen is light blue and I can't see the settings. The aur stopped blowing out and I haven't been able to use my machine. I need a technician to help me or a new machine.
That sounds like a failed CPAP. I would check with your provider to see if it is under warranty potentially. If you need a replacement we can help. Link below to options. cpapmyway.com/store/cpap-machines/auto-cpap-machines
Spitting air or water? There should always be air, but water is an issue. Link below to a helpful video on the water issue. If you meant air, then you will have to explain it a little more to me. ruclips.net/video/A5gW5tvJ_TA/видео.html
What if any negative ramifications come about from either the DME, or the insurance company when they determine that there have been any changes to the clinical settings that didn't involve going through a doctor or the DME?
People are free to make their own choices. I'm a nurse, but I don't use these much I came here to assist my patient in a clinical setting. Plus access to care is a problem, this is helping that demographic.
In today's knowledge-based economy, such self-help is perfectly fine. We are all adults, and if that adult chooses to be a moron - then no amount of teaching will work. I research a lot on any product before I attempt to do anything, and nothing kills me yet. Thanks Cpapmyway....keep up the good work!!
Knocking is not a good noise. A popping noise could be water in the tube, but knocking from the motor is not good. May need to get with the provider that sold it to you.
Very good Video Clay. My 94 y.o. mother has this unit and your video is much appreciated.
Thank you for the tutorial……is there a way to adjust the heat of the air or water?
Yes, that is in the User Settings. Link below will help you on that.

We do have an exhalation relief on your CPAP video that helps. Link below.

I do not think that the Luna 2 modems work anymore. You can use the icode and call it in to your provider. That is pretty easy.

Thanks for the input.

Start by holding ramp first then while holding ramp also press and hold the knob. That should get you in there.
I tried this at least a dozen times and it did not work! I gave up, left it alone for a while, just went back to try the ramp and then the knob and it worked! Amazing. Thank you.

That would be a question for your Dr unfortunately.
Great vid really helped 👍🏾
Happy to help. Thanks for watching.
I have the regular Luna II, not the aueo version. I want to adjust the pressure settings and can't fiure out how. Can you help?
Those instructions should be in this video.
I'm just trying to figure out what's going on with my Luna 2. All of a sudden, over the last week its hard to exhale because it's so much pressure. Sometimes a leak can cause the machine to increase pressure, then the leak gets worse and the condition snowballs.
In my clinical settings menu, it says " humidifier, ramp time, delay etc" , there is no option for " mode, min APAP, Auto on or off" . How can I get these options.
Then you are in the patient level setting and not in the clinical menu.
Great help, thanks
Glad it helped
I have a problem. When I sleep an alarm sound announcing a humidifier problem. How can I fix it?
It will have to go back to 3B for that repair. You will need to reach out to your CPAP supplier to initiate a repair.
Hello. When I hold both buttons down. Nothing happens. I’ve tried multiple times. Any suggestions?
Press the ramp button slightly before you press the knob. If you do it right you should get to the clinical settings.
Fix not working on mine. Any other ideas?
Thanks for the helpful video! How can I see how many hours I slept with the cpap on during a night?

The compliance always shows 7 hrs. This is not particularly useful to me.
Thanks for the feedback.
Can you explain what “ramp” time involves?
Ramp is the time that the machine will take to increase pressure from your "starting pressure" to your "therapy pressure". It is designed to give you time to fall asleep before you get the full Therapy Pressure from your CPAP.

Assuming if you’re Doctor tells you to use Auto, then you won’t need to adjust any settings, correct?
Not the clinical settings. Below is a video goign over your patient level settings that will help.
ruclips.net/video/SpmhzF2in5A/видео.html
What is the "period" setting for?
I will have to look back on that for you.
How do you adjust the date and time?
That should be in the Patient Level Menu.
Again and against alarm sign how to stop
No matter what setting I’m in, my pressure no shows anything on my machine
That is strange. Might want to reach out to your provider on that one.
Mine is spitting air at me thru the mask. What could that be?
Spitting air or water? There should always be air, but water is an issue. Link below to a helpful video on the water issue. If you meant air, then you will have to explain it a little more to me.

I think that the only ramifications would be to your therapy, but if the Dr or DME were upset they could discharge you as a customer.
Thanks!
Welcome!
You do realize that by showing people this they can actually do harm by changing their own pressures without an actual DOCTORS order!!!! Not cool
Thanks for the input.

Hi, why is there a knocking sound and how do I stop it?
