I have had my Luna II for a couple of months and can't figure out how to make the QR Code work. I have the app on my phone but when I try to scan it I get nothing. Another post said something about linking your CPAP to you home wifi. How would I do that?
You would have to make sure that you have a wifi model before you can link to wifi. Most models are not wifi. The QR code can be found by pressing the ramp button while the machine is not running. Then you can that code with your Luna QR app on your smartphone.
I had a Resmed, but si one point felt it wasn't blowing strongly. Now they are replacing it with this machine. It is so big and different looking. I'm not sure I want this as a replacement!😮

Thanks for the nice demo. I have one quick question. Once I start the machine before I sleep, is there a way to pause in the middle of the night and resume after a bathroom visit? How does it affect the iCode QR+ and compliance?
You would want to turn it off then turn it back on. It will not affect it in any way other than a small chunk of missing data. It will omit the data anyway if you are not actively breathing on the CPAP.
Do you remove and clean the 2 rubber seals that connect the water chamber each time you clean water chamber? I usually do and now chamber isn’t sealing right and is so noisy. Couldn’t find anything about this on the instructions. I also remove and clean the rubber seal lining inside of the water chamber. So I’m not sure if I ruined the machine seal by doing this?
Hello! Thank you for this video! I just received my Luna Cpap machine yesterday and had it put together by a technician. My question is about the report and Wi-Fi. I downloaded the 3B Luna QR app and the report for my first night says 0 minutes of usage. All other numbers on the report state 0 as well. Is that normal? As for the Wi-Fi, there is a red X on the Wi-Fi icon when I wake up. But when I use it before bed, it’s not there. Could the no Wi-Fi be causing me not to get a report?
How do I clean the inside of the machine? I seem to get sick every time I use it, I used to have a Dreamstation and I could remove and clean all the seals, this one is impossible to get even a cpap cleaning wipe into the holes behind where the humidifier connects, what am I missing? Thank you, great explanation of this machine except for the cleaning....didn't know the filter was that easy either.
You would have to use something like an ozone cleaner to "clean" the inside of the CPAP. However long term use of that is not recommended, because the ozone can damage the internal components of the CPAP. The CPAP should not really need to be cleaned on the inside often though. Since it is just moving your room air.

I have to make my mask so tight to cut down on the leaks it's hurting my face and disrupting my sleep. any suggestions?

@@bonitac2049 Unfortunately you may have to cut it off carefully then. The tubing should slide off, but if it will not it may require cutting the rubber cuff to get it off. Be careful for sure.
I am honestly not sure what the G2S is unfortunately. You certainly can view AHI on the compliance and therapy report for the Luna 2. The Dr can adjust the range based on that information for sure.
That is available in the Clinical Menu. You press and hold the knob and the ramp button for a few seconds. You will find the Reslex adjustment in there. Be sure not to adjust any prescription settings without consulting with your Dr.
You can search in your app store for "3b luna qr" and it should pop up for you. The name of the app is that. 3B Luna QR in the health and fitness category.
There should not be any time where your CPAP is running with an open airway. So I hope that the noise indicated in this video is a good indication of the noise while you are using it.
I'm having a VERY hard time finding a supplier for replacement parts for my Luna. I need new filters and I can't find them anywhere. Any suggestions? Did I overlook them on the link in your description?
Pressure from 5-20. Got new mask--F30i Better than horrid uncomfortable nasal pillow but still waking up in middle of night, forced air blowing into nose but not sure how works since air blowing on nose, not IN. Air going through mask but leaks out of openings. Used 4 hours first night and again dry mouth, congested, and now bloody nose. I WILL NEVER GET USED TO THIS AND IT IS MANDATORY FOR A CERTAIN SURGERY! If I don’t use this (and it doesn’t help as I still wake very tired as always) then surgery won’t happen. So over this and honestly no longer care! I CAN NOT USE THIS!
Quick question. Just got this one. If i take it off to go to the bathroom, is there a pause button? I've had to turn it off because it is loud when not on my face and is annoying to my wife. Also, do you have any idea if this is compatible with a soclean? Thanks! Thanks for the video. Still confused on Ramp feature.
There should be a feature in the clinical menu for the machine to turn off when you take the mask off. If that feature is no enabled or your mask doesn't allow that feature to work then you will have to manually turn your luna off. You can hook up a soclean with the standard soclean adapter. You would have to remove the little 6 inch tube that is inside of the adapter first though.
This is the first video I have seen from you as I'm interested in the luna. The audio makes this video almost unbearable........ I hope it's better in other videos I am half way through and about to look elsewhere
This machine should be taught one on one with patient demonstrating back on usage and being able to demonstrate and understand features. Also attachments too uncomfortable.
Your audio needs to be improved and there is a light that shines on your machine which prevents us from really seeing what you’re talking about. Your information is good though.
Quiet? I’m afraid I’m going to disturb my neighbors using it…it’s so loud. Plus the fact I have no clue how to use it. And what’s the little box that has a usb plug? YOUR machine does not have that. This CPAP is causing me a lot of grief….and I just need to go back to work because of narcolepsy. Not mild sleep apnea.
If it is loud then chances are you have a significant leak somewhere. That box is a cell modem to relay your data back to your supplier. If you went through an insurance provider, they monitor your usage to make sure that you are using it. They will usually repo it if you are not using it enough. Check out the link on Mask Leaks below. Hopefully it will help you reduce the noise. cpapmyway.com/blog/why-is-my-cpap-mask-leaking
I can’t get “Ramp” to go past 10 minutes. Explained took me an hour to fall asleep and company rep said goes only to 60 minutes. Using “Nasal Pillow.” Feel as if suffocating as don’t feel air going in unless inhale but can’t exhale. Now feel more congested. The machine is EXTREMELY complicated and do not like the company gets info on you automatically through WiFI. None of their business! I’m paying to rent it! Case is huge. Don’t even think of travel. NOT AT ALL “USER FRIENDLY!” I can’t get ramp to go to 60 minutes. Very difficult to use and manual isn’t much help!
Sorry to hear that you are having such trouble. The ramp should be adjustable in your patient level menu. You should be able to click on the little cog to access that menu on the screen. Sounds like as much of an issue with the company you are dealing with as it is with the machine. Good Luck!

You would have to do that in the clinical menu.
thanks for the video. the place my doctor made me get mine from mailed it to me with little explanation and I was wondering why it had a foam in the air filter slot but the "replacement" filters they sent were thin little paper things. didn't know if i needed to use them both or what. now it seems like they just sent disposable ones to rack up more sales
Glad we could help. The Foam CPAP filteris good for 6 months or more if you rinse it weekly.
@@CPAPmyway I actually have this question too - what are those little white filters for? I do not see a slot for them just for the larger black foam one. Seems like the white ones should be pre-filters...?? but where do they go?
Where you get this cpap machine? Do they have a payment plan ?
We carry the Luna 2 and we have great financing options in the checkout section to make a payment plan. Link to the CPAP below.
cpapmyway.com/store/cpap-machines/auto-cpap-machines/3b-luna-2-auto-cpap
Where does the white little filter go ?
You can use the white one which is disposable or the black one which is washable. They both go in the back corner in the filter housing.
Thank you
Can I use drinking bottle of water as emergency for the Luna iq
Yes. Just empty it in the morning and wash a little more often.
How do you disconnect the tubing to clean, I have a Luna 2 cpap machine?
It should just pull right off the back of the CPAP. You may have to pinch the rubber cuffs an wiggle back and forth a bit.
@@CPAPmyway thank you.
@@CPAPmyway unable to remove
@@bonitac2049 Unfortunately you may have to cut it off carefully then. The tubing should slide off, but if it will not it may require cutting the rubber cuff to get it off. Be careful for sure.
@@CPAPmyway by the way I was able to remove the tubing, it was hard. Thanks again
Thanks!
You are very welcome.
the button to the left is blinking and beeping what does that mean?
Is it blinking constantly, while the CPAP is running, or while the CPAP is off?
Hello, do you offer replacement filters? I don't see them on your website...
For some reason they are not up on the site. I will have them fixed and back up soon. Sorry about that.
@@CPAPmyway greatly appreciated. If you can remember, please ping this message thread and I'll purchase straight away
Is this the same as BMC G2S? Can you see the AHI to adjust the auto range? Thanks
I am honestly not sure what the G2S is unfortunately. You certainly can view AHI on the compliance and therapy report for the Luna 2. The Dr can adjust the range based on that information for sure.
There is a catch alright mine didn't work..brand new.
Sorry to hear that.
How do I get to the Reslex option to reduce pressure during expiration?
That is available in the Clinical Menu. You press and hold the knob and the ramp button for a few seconds. You will find the Reslex adjustment in there. Be sure not to adjust any prescription settings without consulting with your Dr.
Where are these machines manufactured?
They are made in China.
What app for mi phone
You can search in your app store for "3b luna qr" and it should pop up for you. The name of the app is that. 3B Luna QR in the health and fitness category.
Ugh that damn glare from your ceiling light blocking the screen demo
Sorry about that. Will take it into account on future videos
Ha, "the machine is running" as he plugs the air hole with his thumb 😂 Might be why it was so quiet 🤫
There should not be any time where your CPAP is running with an open airway. So I hope that the noise indicated in this video is a good indication of the noise while you are using it.
How much is that cpap
The Fluorescent light from the ceiling obstructs the cpap screen
Sorry about that. We may update this video soon.
I'm having a VERY hard time finding a supplier for replacement parts for my Luna. I need new filters and I can't find them anywhere. Any suggestions? Did I overlook them on the link in your description?
@@Chocolatekeeper Thank you so much!!
Pressure from 5-20. Got new mask--F30i
Better than horrid uncomfortable nasal pillow but still waking up in middle of night, forced air blowing into nose but not sure how works since air blowing on nose, not IN.
I am sorry to hear that it as been such a struggle.
Please redo your video its so hard to see and hear what you are saying due to the many distractions in noise and bright overhead lights
Thank you. Will do.
I'd sack the sound man.
This is the first video I have seen from you as I'm interested in the luna. The audio makes this video almost unbearable........ I hope it's better in other videos I am half way through and about to look elsewhere
Yeh that one was an early video. We are definitely better at dealing with CPAPs than we are shooting videos. Getting better these days though.
sound is very muffled in this video
Sorry about that.
This machine should be taught one on one with patient demonstrating back on usage and being able to demonstrate and understand features. Also attachments too uncomfortable.
Thanks for the input.
Your audio needs to be improved and there is a light that shines on your machine which prevents us from really seeing what you’re talking about. Your information is good though.
Thank for the input and for watching.

Sound keeps fading in and out.
Sorry about that. Old vide and old equipment.
Good Luck!
@@CPAPmyway Company isn’t great but one rep took time to help me and even tell me needed different face mask. Have use “pillow” twice and since I’m a mouth breather doesn’t do much good. In fact woke again extremely exhausted.
If anyone needs one I have a new one for sale very sheap
Cool
Goodness this is a terrible quality video to send someone as a set up tutorial.
Sorry about that.
Good grief, buy a microphone! The camera noise is over the top!
Thanks for the input.
Poor vid - bad audio and screen glare from lights.
Thanks for the input. We definitely aren't going to win any videography awards around here. But we are improving.
Very amateurishly produced. Sound was terrible. Wjhy didn't you use a professional to record this?
Sorry for the lack of professionalism on the demo. We are getting better as we go.
