taking the rhine is the best bit, they have way less square cities, tanks are crippled. less tax. germany are very crippled at that point, go in with like 3.6k- 5k tanks to take the rhine land, then just go on to berlin, obviously bring arty and infan just to help the conquest of Berlin, but that is how easily germany dies to france, not to mention if you get aircraft bit early
Something i like to do is play as a d tier nation, get maneuvre warfare and spam tanks, then snipe the capital of an s tier nation. I remember soloing russia as belarus by taking moscow right away and watching him slowly collapse
ngl italy or uk is the best in europe, easy access to micronations for early game cash, few areas of entry so much easier defense with seas and mountainous terrain, start with decent mp and income and easy access to other countries for expansion. also they even have decent resources

As a France main, France probably has the best position. You have 4 microstate to invade and to built your eco really fast, and blitzkrieg everyone. If people try to gang on you, if you played well you have a way better economy, you can build a navy to defend the british channel, blitzkrieg benelux and germany, defend the alps with arty and ignore the spanish front until you defeated everyone else. i fought UK spain Germany Italy Poland (and USA but only his navy) all at once, i managed to defeat them cuz me eco was built way earlier than them and brought way more money, making me able to afford 4k tanks, destroyers and subs artillery and 4 planes, also, if u invaded the microstates properly you have 5 airport in total.

You get to a point in the game where you become that good where unless you are up against another really good player, you can play any country and win as long as its not something like Estonia and Russia declares before your factories are even complete, then spams 100k soldiers
I have a few objections, mainly in the higher tiers. To start, France #1. Great position, access to tons of microstates, can easily take out countries like Spain while having a hilly border with Germany, mountains to defend against Italy, and the channel for Britain. Britain is above Germany simply due to its microstate access, resources, and its ease of defense. Russia is really stupidly easy, but it's stuck next to China. Getting into a war with China is an absolute slog that WILL, no matter what, send you into crippling economic ruin that will take years to fix, even if you win. France doesn't have these problems. Other than these and some other nitpicks, I mostly agree.
I am pretty sure switzerland starts with limited conscription so it gives you just a so much better manpower at the start of the game despite the small population. This allows you to to get a bigger army early and maybe do some conquest if you get lucky.

As a cyprus Stan, playing cyprus is a lot easier than you would expect, just do the basics of getting civs, making a Navy and research then you can win against turkey

as someone who frequently plays both Ireland and the Baltics, I'd move Ireland down to E and Estonia up to D honestly. Latvia's definitely the weakest Baltic (and by a decent margin too) and it only having UBF / Courland hurts it a lot. Estonia is quite a bit better since you get an extra formable (that's pretty easy to get too) which gives insane value, being cores over Finland (extra stab is also a big deal). Lithuania is in the middle imo, top of E/bottom of D, that extra starting strength in the Baltics of all places is hardly relevant since you're virtually dead if you don't get UBF anyway, though if you get a run going, it has the best mid game potential due to its formables. Ireland however (especially after the fort changes to require steel) is DOGSHIT in the super early game, you don't have many realistic ways to defend against the UK, only really being able to hold for a little while until you eventually lose; it's very luck dependent currently, as you're always a target even before you can make factories, and navy only helps if you can kick them out of NI. A competent UK player will effectively just stall you out, putting artillery in Wales and invalidating your navy; you don't have the money nor manpower to stop them really, with your best hope being to hold long enough for the UK to overcommit and then die to France/Germany, or receive pity from other players lmao. Good luck getting the formable too, since you've gotta kill three nations substantially stronger than you to make it happen, and even once you beat the UK, France/Spain (or whoever controls them) will be even stronger Slovakia > Ireland and I'm being fully sincere there lmao
To be honest, there are a lot of nations in Europe that have terrible positions. Even strong ones like Spain that are tucked away in the bottom corner of Europe (although it does make it nice for a sneak attack on France)

I was playing as france, germany decided to Invade poland who was my ally. with the help of my allies, [netherlands, czechia and poland] we all managed to push them back. unfortunately, russia decided to declare war on us. we managed to fight back for a solid few hours although not without heavy setbacks, russia was spamming troops like a mad man at us into my concentrated divisions of tanks, UK declared war on me and I managed to fend him off while still defending against russia but It was pretty much over when other countries like italy and san marino declared on me. i was too overwhemeled and stretched too thin. overall he spammed like 20 million troops and probably around 14k tanks
Russia's goated so long as you somehow solve its money issue(like get lucky and sell a lot of consumers, getting sweet Chinese aid, friendly relations with Germany thus less military cost, etc.) Russia experience is like: Specialization? Not enough money. Maneuver warfare? Not enough money. Tech spendings? Not enough money.
Ngl whenever I play Ron Netherlands just spams forts and some factories and just portect Amsterdam but if they do survive Germany they try to colonize or have to defend France then they colonize after they form Benelux then just leave

I think sweden and ukraine being in the same tier seems odd. Ukraine stars with almost the same population as france, and has 5 times more population than sweden, and if you play it right you can easily steamroll poland, germany and sometimes france too. In my opinion ukraine is close to being a tier. But not quite a tier because of russia obviously.
