    I bought an XPeak and rode it for the first time yesterday. Bottom line, it was great fun off-road and I think it's a real bargain . . . particularly with Lectric currently throwing in a extra battery. The foot-clearance concern raised by some people is, so far, is a non-issue for me. I never felt a wobble when crusing at 22mph . . . but I had no cargo racks or cargo. I want to carry cargo some day, so I ordered a Hellbender head dampener to hopefully solve any wobble issue. (Got this idea from Gary's Ebike Adventure YT channel.) We'll see if that works. Even if it doesn't, this bike is a keeper for me. I feel much more comfortable and relaxed on the trails being on a step-through. Don't see any advantage to the step-over version.

      Thats great. Sounds like you are having a great time on your new XPeak. Foot clearance has no been an issue with me either, but I do ride on the balls of my feet so they don't stick out as much. I love it off road to, very comfortable and easy to maneuver in tight turns.

      I glad you are enjoying your new XPeak. I have not had a foot clearance problem either, but I do ride on the balls of my feet. I love the XPeak off road too. Very comfortable and easy to maneuver in tight turns.

    Nice video! You can unlock the bike to do 2mph at any PAS level. I put the Hellbender headset bearings on my step-thru, and it made a world of difference. I also changed my tires to an off and on-road tire. I even added an extra battery that I took off my Expedition before I sold it. I also replaced the front crank with a 52-tooth to get rid of the ghost pedaling.

      Sounds like you really have your XPeak dialed in now, nice.

    Nice ride and helps to know your wt. and how far you can go. This is the best test ride I have ever seen anyone do. Thanks for doing this test ride.

    Hi Lance, I was surprised by this, you had better mileage ridding at 15 mph on the other video. Great video, thank you. Lectric webpage shows 45 miles, wonder why such a difference.

      I was surprised to, but after analyzing it for a bit, I believe the power output on PAS 1 with throttle only is constant since the speed is so slow and the power output on PAS 5 fluctates when you get to speed only using minimal power to maintain the speed. As for Lectric saying 45 miles, I think they are either only using data to come up with that number, or a light rider in perfect conditions.

    Great video Lance 👍. I just bought mine coming next week . Will I be able to take it to work on one charge 19 miles on a step assist 3 with a half the way throttle and half the way paddle ? I do have ability to plug in for charge at work 😀

      Unless its uphill they whole way, I dont see any reason you would get that mileage out of it.

    I mean it wobbles...so I think that is why people were commenting about the quality.

    • @theridewithlance
      @theridewithlance  7 месяцев назад

      Yes, but not just about the wobble.

      @@theridewithlance You are probably right...but this has been buried by the release of the Lectric One how bad it is to have a bike engineered and have it wobble with the racks on. Shouild have been dealt with differently by corporate at Lectric so I personally would probably never buy a Lectric because they didn't handle the failure correctly,

    8 mph on PAS 1 is pretty slow. I go faster pedaling with 0 PAS. My Himiway A7 Pro goes 14-15 Mph on flat trail on throttle only PAS 1.

      It is pretty slow, but their are riders who like riding slow. The A7 Pro really does look like a nice bike.

      Yes, its pretty slow, but not everyone wants to ride fast. The A7 Pro really does look like a nice bike to ride.
