This is the exact van that I dream of having. As a large old woman a decent bathroom is a must. Think of all of the homestead and garden festivals that i could go to around the country and visit all of my grandchildren more often.
After buying my 2024 Beyond 22RB, I took a trip to the Coachmen factory in Middlebury Indiana. It was very educational to see the construction process and where all the pluming, water tanks and electrical systems are located on this model.
We bought our Beyond in 2020, we love the heck out of it. The ride is the best and I laugh when a Sprinter Van tries to pass me with their wimpy lawnmower engine. Love the changes that have happened over the last 5 years . Thought I would just say hey, and let people know if they are thinking of buying a Class B, they will not be disappointed with this RV. We pay off the RV next year and will change over to lithium batteries. Take care.
I LOVE this layout but don’t like the tiny refrigerator. With a bit of modification they could put the microwave where the small refrigerator is and put the larger fridge where the microwave and prep area are. If they used a stowable induction stove that would open prep space.
I agree totally ! I cook, and even though there is usually a grocery in every town, that tiny refrigerator needs to be replaced. It's a shame to pay this amount then have a carpenter remodel it. I hope someone takes your suggestion in swapping spaces with the micro/induction 'microwave' seriously.
We have a '23 22RB. The refrigerator is small, but it holds more than you'd think. We did a month-plus trip across the country and only had to restock the fridge twice. While the RB has the smaller fridge, it also has the most storage and the largest bathroom of the three floorplans. And without a floor to ceiling cabinet (or bathroom) in the way mid-ship, it feels the most spacious. We store drinks - cans, bottles - in the rear cabinet and restock the fridge as we use them. All three floorplans have things that one must compromise on, and we are very happy with our choice.
i never used to like the RB TB layout but as my real-world use case has evolved over the years, which is not living full time in a van, it is perfect. and i love that the convection/micro is at an ideal height with a counter space on top.
The one change I'd make to this layout would be to make the microwave cabinet floor to ceiling and put the fridge over there. The the space where the fridge is now can be used as more storage. This would allow for a much larger fridge because this one is too small. Coachmen also needs to offer more chassis colors. It doesn't get any more boring than silver and white. If I'm factory ordering my van anyway, I should be able to get any color Ford offers.
Not a fan of two dump locations unless you get much larger tank capacity. Sounds like you would have to use the black tank flush every time to clean the hose before moving to the grey.
Hi Nick, I really like this coach a lot! You say you can have it shipped to us in California at no extra cost? Plus, I saw the MSRP on it was over $200,000??????? That is like way too crazy a price, am I right???????
We would deliver to California at no extra cost! The MSRP is that high, but we discount the price that we offer it for. If you'd like to chat about it just give us a ring at 352-337-0776 and ask for Austin, he would love to help you out!
Good luck to your son! One of our neighbors here in Texas are Gators alumni, and they decorate their front yard every Saturday during football season 🐊
@@sunshinestatervs Oh! I wasn’t aware that these things can be swapped out! When you say an option for a propane cooktop, would that then be the NON Li3 model? Let me clarify. I want the Li3 model but I don’t want the induction cooktop. Also I’m torn between this and the Winnebago Travato 59K. What say you?
You can get the lithium model with a propane cooktop. When it comes to the Beyond vs the 59K, it really comes down to how you're going to be using it. If you'd like to chat about it feel free to give us a ring at 352-337-0776 and ask for Austin. You can also shoot him an email at austin@sunshinestatervs. com
But does the awning have a wind sensor, and can it be modified to be more overland capable? Ie a winch system, outdoor rear storage etc. Where am I putting the George foreman grill, for example?
@@sunshinestatervs awesome! So with the upgrade package at 1260Ah@12V that’s 15,120 watt hours, correct? Isn’t watts a better measurement? That’s a lot! Nice!!!

HI Nick an YT channel called the fit RV the guy is bald 😅 he has a ekko and he put in more battery in the RV he did a video telling what those numbers mean he explained them pretty good 😅 he like to modify the RV he changed the heater and AC 😅 put a window in the entrance door 😅 change the bench seat so he can put more battery in the RV I think he should be the RV designer because he always wants to modify it to his own satisfaction 😅 and he is good at it too he has All kinds of tools in his garage to make things he needs watch his video is a good education for me I also enjoyed you and Hank doing a video together and I know people complain he cuts in to much but I like it because they are the questions I would ask and I like the interactions between you two IT make me laugh 😂
The beyond would look so much better with the radius curve cabinets instead of the old fashioned looking Amish ones. But it took Nick years to get rid of that silly round sink, so I guess he's not going to change the cabinets anytime soon lol
The average consumer is comforted by the "Amish" cabinets, the familiarity, the look of what they have in their home. Personally, I don't care for the radius, airplane look. That said, perhaps it could be an option. Nick? Seems very comfortable with himself.
PLEASE CHANGE THOSE UPPER CABINETS TO ALL WOOD! They look so “cheap” with that plastic looking insert! I don’t like the idea of being able to see what’s in the cabinet. Can this RV be ordered with solid wood doors????
This might sound crazy!!! This is the only all weather floor plan in existence.(other than travato 59k) A built in “ mud room“ isolated from the main cabin. You can go in and out of this van in any weather condition without affecting the main cabin at all! The fact that no other RVs have a built-in “ mudroom“ is shocking to me. The benefits are so obvious!!

Sounds like the perfect one!!!

is that a weekly or daily scheduled tour that anyone can request?
This is what I want. Double solar, rear bath. And, as a Ford driver, the keyless entry is so good to have. This is the PERFECT VAN!
We would love to help you get into your perfect van when you're ready!

Agreed
Have to haul around an ice chest with that size.
Same here, small frig deal breaker 🥲

Great class B! Now change the first number on the MSRP from a 2 to a 1 and there may be a market for this beauty.
Nice! Wish I could afford it!
Nick, I enjoy your informative videos. All that is missing is the cost of your vans 😊
Great job Nick you go
Thank you so much!

We have seen someone make that change with the fridge, it would just void warranties on a new model.
Nick, love your videos
Thank you! We appreciate you watching

They do it so they don't have to run as much plumbing underneath with the bathroom and kitchen so far apart, meaning more space for tanks!
Jayco 20t swift one dump location fyi
How to you upgrade to the 1260ah? Can the dealer do that or must it be ordered? Love Coachmen vans
It can be ordered from the factory, or we are able to do it here at the dealership! Whichever you prefer
Where is the sewer hose, water hose and electric plug stored?
It's' to bad they didn't duct the A/C. Dovetail drawers are amazing, great quality cabinets.
Ducting the AC would honestly be overkill in something this size. The Truma Aventa does an amazing job at keeping the Beyond cool

Love your review …2024RB looking for larger fridge and microwave/convection combo
Are these options?
Thanks
It is possible to get the convection combo put in pretty easily, but there isn't an easy way to add a larger fridge.
Why does it have propane if it has induction cooktop?
For the hot water and the furnace
@@sunshinestatervs They should loose the propane ~ more RVs are!
Is the rear bath the floor plan you want? We carry propane free Ford Transit chassis RVs
Can you put the macerator and pump on this unit?
Anything is possible, the biggest factor is price because it would be an aftermarket change. The easiest solution is a macerator toilet.
Good luck to your son! One of our neighbors here in Texas are Gators alumni, and they decorate their front yard every Saturday during football season 🐊
If someone gets a van delivered in NY, how do they get the two days at a campsite to learn how to use the van?
For the two nights, you would have to come pick up the van and get your walkthrough in person
Nice but Ugh, can anything be done about the induction cooktop?! Was that a convection microwave? Is there another color option for the cabinets?
There is an option for a propane cooktop, and the microwave could be swapped for a convection microwave

Do any of the side windows open.
Yes, there is a window behind the kitchen sink that will open up, and one on the other side that is on the sliding door that will open up as well
👏👏👏🙏Well done.

But does the awning have a wind sensor, and can it be modified to be more overland capable? Ie a winch system, outdoor rear storage etc. Where am I putting the George foreman grill, for example?
The awning does have a wind sensor. We have also gotten into doing modifications so we can definitely add more to make it more overland capable
GUARANTEE
Is that amp hour rating (630 or 1260) at 12 volts??
Yes, it is at 12 volts

Winnebago has been working on an electric prototype on the electric transit chassis

Kind of wasted a good upper cabinet with all those system panels. Need to find another place for those.
They should make a 620 li3 van with a separate generator with the 3k inverter
We could make that happen for you! It would just be taking a generator model then performing a lithium upgrade to it with an inverter swap

So why don’t you just have 1 van and 1 big battery! No gas
Too much weight and not enough range. That's the biggest struggle to overcome right now

You did a lousy job of showing the kitchen area.
We did our best to show off all of the features in the kitchen. Is there something specific you would like to see or know more about?
BIG fridge and freezer????? lmfao
compared to what ??? THAT is the question.
