There's an indigenous tribe that lives in that area of Kayangan Lake that don't want to be disturbed. The place is kind of exclusive and sacred to them. Also, there were people who drowned in that lake so that's why life vests became mandatory after that. The biggest attraction of Barracuda lake is free diving. It's one of the clearest waters in the Philippines with fantastic underwater limestone formations. Too bad you guys missed that just floating around. You can see in others' videos how clear and surreal it is diving in it.
I found your vlog on RUclips with its travel content very inspiring to me, really enjoyed seeing both of you looking sweet and enjoyable to watch, I really liked it, try visiting Bandung city, West Java, Indonesia, and see its art district and tourist spots, how exciting for you to visit 😅
Hi dan and beth i watched all your previous Vlogs,,,,my tips on Pilipino food just always put sauce or some dip it with vinegar to perfect the taste,, and mostly pilipino food eat with rice... Have a good day and Enjoy on PH guys,,,!
If you try the TAO or dream expedition from coron to el nido living in a island for 5 days going to off the beaten island there are still many islands in surrounding palawan you will love it
Word of mouth from locals says there is a giant octopus seen there and it is kinda a protected area since there are indi tribe living there. Im pertaining to Kayangan Lake. Also for drones, it is kind of a risk to get it up there because that area has strong electromagnetic interference coming from the rocks so many drones cant use the return to home feature.
Well if this was taken last February or even March it is usually super windy in Coron but still beautiful isnt it? They closed it because Beth is correct czech tourists drowned after the line. I remember going here before it blew up and it was magnificent, but still pretty, I dont get tired going here yearly. I love the entire Palawan.
You're in the islands and at sea of course it's gonna be windy. It's actually good otherwise you'll be fried by the heat😂 You still able to fly your drone though, nice👍
Too bad you're only doing a day tour in Coron. There are so much more amazing islands islands, beaches and snorkeling just a bit further out e.g. Malcapuya, Banana, Daracotan, Black, Pass islands just to name a few with amazing white sand beaches. Then there are sunken WWII Japanese shipwrecks some shallow enough for you to snorkel in. Barracuda lake is actually more popular with divers. It may not be as impressive as Kayangan lake at the surface. Its main draw is the thermocline when you reach a depth of around 15m. The water temperature drastically increases by about 10ºC to around 40ºC. They also say that diving at the bottom of the lake is like walking on the moon.
OMG 😳 😳😱 This Place is Absolutely Beautiful The Limestone Cliffs and Everything in This Place Stunning 🤩 👍👍👍👍💪👌✌️🙏

The coral gardens is more like a nursery for smaller/growing fish and eventually these move out to deeper seas.

Just be careful with stonefish. Make sure not to step on them.
