Haha. I remember my parents throwing out my copy of this when I was a kid. Just went and bought another one.
I had to hide most of my CD's. Language and the cover art. The Chronic and Doggystyle were well hidden!!!
My mom hated my music too. Then she watched Straight Out Of Compton and she now understands their lyrics and why they sang this song.
LOL I ran into the record store (Tower Records) and just flashed the cassette of 100 Miles and Runnin' when my mom asked what I had brought so it wasn't an issue I was like "just this one tape I brought" now cassettes are starting to become cool with gen z just like vinyl.
They got the FBI's attention with this one. For a completely different style of West Coast hip hop, check out Souls Of Mischief, "93 Til Infinity". Loving you doing your own thang, keep up the great work!
93 til infinity is a classic!
Yes, good suggestion!
Wow! I've been wanting to recommend this to him and the twins as well. Still listen to it frequently.
Remember the concert in Detroit where NWA signed a contract that they wouldn't play this song? They did anyway because the crowd kept beggin for it. The police immediately shut them down, and NWA didn't even get paid for that concert. Damn, I was there. Yup, I'm old.
@@jenniferdoolittle6935 you were there??!!! That concert is a part of music history!!!
N.W.A. Was the anthem of the day. It’s ironic Ice-T played a beloved cop on tv10 years later.
Ice-T was not in N.W.A. He did play a cop in the movie New Jack City before L&O: SVU.
What you on bro 😭😭 ice T was never in nwa just stop talkin
So adorable! "I don't cuss". Hope you don't take this comment the wrong way. I love it! Tons of cussing in this banger tough. 🤣
Damn you're going old skool!! I absolutely love it!!
Easy E was amazing. R.I.P. 🙏🙏
I really wonder what these boys think about their MAJOR FAN BASE IS....us born in the 60’ & 70’s😳😳😂😂😂
Tanya Gallegos im 23 lol 😂 i was just raised eclectic. I still feel old just knowing how long ive known these songs . Old soul i suppose, maybe my mom.
So ... as a kid I used to ride around with my friend's (and my sons dad) just blasting this song. We had to buy the cassette tape from an underground music store... fast forward to 2020. I have a son that is a policeman that I'm very proud of. He's one of the good ones, trying to make a difference. Just ironic 😁💗
😂😂 that is crazy
Tell him to be careful out there! They kill the good ones …..
Watch the movie Straight Outta Compton to learn more about N.W.A. and to understand why they made this song.
Love that 🎥
Straight outta Compton is a load of bullshit after the first half
Doesn't take to watch the movie to understand why they made this song. It's simple as it sounds. Also Straight Outta Compton made a bunch of bs in the hope of more suspense and drama and added things that never happened (Eazy getting beat up), watch the legit like a documentary or interviews.
@@great-mighty9603 or just listen to the diss tracks between eazy and dre and not only will you find out the truth but you'll soon realise who won
@@john-ek9gv I've listen to it and Eazy clearly one. There was no competition
Keith Sweat....Nobody!!! I love that baby making music!! 🌻
RIP Easy E! Iconic song.
Ice T is damn good too. I love his group, Body Count. Totally unexpected sound but I love 'em. Ice Cube is iconic. Check out Today Was A Good Day by Ice Cube. Good grief Dom, you're taking me back to recess days!
Love Body Count totally underrated
Ice t was never in nwa
Nwa was Eazy E ice cube the D.O.C
Dr Dre Mc Ren Dj Yella and the Arabian prince and their first album wasn't straight outta Compton it was self titled NWA And the posse
@@shaunmulsay9722 that's right! In addition to NWA, Ice-T is damn good as well. Understand?
"while I'm driving off laughing this is what I'll say! fuq da police..." chef's kiss

Enjoying your videos, rooting for ya to break through like your brothers!
Hey lil' bro . Good luck on your channel . Been watching your brothers for awhile .
Good luck with your channel little brother! For someone who doesn’t swear, I think NWA was a bold choice 😂. We’re all here for you & hoping you succeed! ✌🏽
Great job not using profanity, that’s just one of the reason I watch your brothers❤️🙏🏻
I like your passion for music, keep it up!
Tone Loc “Funky Cold Medina” or “Wild Thing”
Ohh
HECK YESSS!!
Hey “little brother” I came over from your brothers’ channel and decided to subscribe. Good luck with your channel.
DItto!

Love Eazy- E’s voice, so unique. RIP to Eazy!
Other reaction ideas Dr Dre- Let me Ride or Dr Dre- Forgot about Dre.
Other great 90’s rap:
Snoop & Tupac - 2 of Amerikas most wanted
The D.O.C.: funky enough
Luniz- I got 5 on it
Digital Underground- I get around
Too Short- I’m a Player

@02:36 Y'all said "Uh" at the same time. That was cute lol☺
Good stuff! Williams Fam!💙💙🙌🙌
yella and dre made the beats cube ren and e are vocals, eazy was always my fav his catalog is deep
You got to listen to the lyrics because I speaks from the soul. This song was made like 1988 or so and it speaks about how Blacks and Latinos are confronted by the police in big cities like Los Angeles. This stuff is still going on today . I'm glad you did the reaction video.
Congrats on your channel and all your new subscribers!
Thank you for bringing us your love of music.
Ice Cube "today it was a good day"
This really got the FBI's attention back then
Dr. Dre didn’t rap in all the songs. He produced all their songs and Yella MC’d only.
Congrats Dom on ur channel! Keep it up my brother n it will all work for ya. Here's a couple ol skool jams for u to check out.
The O Jays-
For the love of money

Dire Straits - money for nothing

Check out the Dope version sometime.
That song is now really coming back with all these murders of innocent Black ppl. The system needs to
CHANGE....COMPLETELY! Be careful out there ...sad to say 😢
No Vaseline ice cube
💥💥💥Banmm on the scene in the 80s
DEFINITELY ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT GROUPS IN HISTORY...✊🏽✊🏽😎😎✊🏽✊🏽💥
Heat love 90's hip hop
Glad you watched it!! 😎 It's a classic! Watch Straight Outta Compton, it'll give you some history of NWA, Snoop and others
OH this will be good. It was the very first time something like POLICE BRUTALITY and racism by cop was even talked about in a song! They got arrested on stage in some town for performing this.
Eazy E had the best voice. Ice Cube wrote the song lyrics and I love the way he comes in with a furious sound.
“Texas Flood” by Stevie ray van is great man you should definitely react to it
I remember the uproar this caused when it came out, I listen to it now and it's them treating the police how they have been treated, didn't get that at the time
Its hard to believe so much time has passed that there are people that actually never heard of NWA ... but I'm glad they seeing
Ice cube! Listen to more
I like old school rap because it usually has a message and story telling.
Gangster's Paradise by Coolio 🤯
Until NWA came out, it been Beastie Boys and Run DMC. Then I knew...this is for real.

Ice Cube and Eazy E 2 of the great’s. I wore out this cassette.
DOM, Santana with Rob Thomas “Smooth”
Check out ice cube -go to church. People sleeping on cube
Recommend reacting to Mac Lethal's Alphabet Insanity
This is dope!!!
LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out" is worth a listen if you haven't heard it. oh, and Da Brat "Give it 2 You" (actually just check her out in general, well worth a listen.)
DOM, You need to listen to Alter Bridge “Blackbird”. The lead singer’s voice Myles Kennedy and the band are amazing!
Hey - Seriously check out "Killin In The Name" by Machine Gun Kelly. They remade the original from Rage Against The Machine. Fantastic original, but MGK's video reflects the struggles of today. It's a must see. And a total banger ✌
I've heard kids chant this every single day, whenever a cop is present. How can anyone not know this song from infancy or earlier?
I think Ice Cubes bar is one of the best ever. Great reaction.
Ice Cube wrote almost all of their lyrics
Wrong, he Ren and D.O.C wrote eazy lyrisc, when cube leave Ren was main lyricist of group
Dj quik - dollaz and sense
1989. Yup. We didn't know what hit us with NWA but we knew rap music's entire trajectory had changed overnight.
... BIG CLASSIC ... MUSICAL INCULT ...
MC Renzo
Ridin in the Benzo
Mc Ren was a beast ahead of his time
If you're interested in International songs, check out Gims & Sting "Reste" . Keep up the good work. Nice choices so far.
Hairline on fleek
Check out Gang Starr- You Know My Steez
This song is still relevant today unfortunately because of how police treat black and other ethnic minority people
If you can react to bay area music.
Mac dre thizzle dance
Spice 1. The trigga gots no heart.
Mista fab. New Oakland. If you could react to one of those songs the bay area hardly gets any play because there known to be more independent
How to tell if rap is old.... they mention a pager or a beeper.
FTP! Nice reaction.
Yeh Eazy E passed from AIDS😔
🙏 Easy E
Eazy-E popped my hip hop 🍒(rap back in the day) a long long time ago!!!
React to....Eazy-E Boys-In-Da-Hood that shit is 🔥
Ice Cube and Dr. Dre would be the most recognizable to Gen Z as they had continued to be relevant post NWA to this day. Eazy E died or he would likely still be doing things as well. Though 2 Pac and Biggie continue to be relevant, older folks more in tune with the underground hip hop scene (which this was at the time) would know eazy or kids that have seen the Straight Outta Compton movie. There is a part 2 called Sa Prize Part 2 of this song off the single that came out later prior to the release of their sophomore album.
the fact there are only a handful of reactions with very few views of this very socially significant song tells me all I need to know about youtube censorship.
Hey Buckwheat says it straight to it!
Please react to some Nick Drake. He wrote some beautiful songs. I think you should react to Which Will and to the truly beautiful song Northern Sky. Fred & Tim haven't reacted to Nick Drake yet.
Real Hip Hop
This was lit!
Love it’s song you should react to cop killer
Mc ren had the best verse
System of the Down "Toxicity"
🤘
Dr. Dre produced The D O C look up It's Getting Funky
Ice T...cop killer slays it too.
yea easzy died of aids...back then they didn't have all the meds they do now and he didn't know he had it until he was close to death. Fun fact: eazy never wanted to rap he was producing but one memeber quit and they put him on a song and bc his voice is so unique ppl loved his sound.
I personally like ice Cube's fire.
NWA is the shit! RIP Eazy E! Please watch Straight Outta Compton
Check out part 2.
Cube...
Check out Rage Against the Machine...Bulls on Parade or Killing in the Name to start with. You can't go wrong with any of their songs though. They are 90's rock sound but they got bars. 😀
There is a part 2
🔊 Dom You gentlemen grew up in a ⛪ Christian home, with so many reQuest (some a lil' risqué, profanity, etc., how do you keep a positive spirit? Don't lose that... keep it clean.
🔼ReQuest: I lost My 1st 💜 Great.Nephew... PLEASE 'REACT' to this song... As a dedication to him {BB... Life Goes On!}
-Auntie I~DB
Song: 'Life Goes On'
Artist -Tupac Shakur
{Lyrics may be a lil' risqué}
Lil' known fact: Shakur has sold over 75 million records worldwide, with the bulk of that coming after his death; seven of his 11 platinum albums were released posthumously.
