Burj Khalifa's fireworks were more a light and laser show display, with fireworks being used here and there more as a backdrop than anything else. Still pretty but nowhere near the Sydney show! And the constant ad for emaar practically every minute was kind of lame. In Sydney, the actual fireworks were the star of the show and were used constantly and abundantly.
Sydney knocked it out of the park, with these gorgeously synchronized fireworks, and I absolutely loved the synth-ish electronic music at the start!!! Must appreciate me Aussie mates who organized this! I thought: _"oh it's over now"_ > 4:50 _"okay now it's gotta be over"_ > 7:26 _"Okay, what more can they do now??!"_ > 10:30 **Sydney bridge on fire ....** Was absolutely blown away. That was insane!
Sydney has one of the best firework shows in the world and I love how the bridge is lighting up in the new year. The opera house is celebrating it too.

Sydney is my favourite place for the Christmas and New Year holidays. It's so magical to trade the cold, wet and dark mornings of the northern hemisphere and arrive at the summer solstice. Here's hoping we can finally go back next year and do the Bridge Climb again.

Sydney is lucky to have such a setting for a fireworks display we may not have a harbor, but we at least have Kim Il-sung Square, the Juche Tower, and the Taedong River and manage to pull it off
