8.5 tonnes of fireworks, more than a dozen of containers of equipment, 25km of wires and cables, 15 computers, 60+ personnel, 12 days of preparation and more...

The display over the harbour featured 36,000 shooting effects including comets,mines and crossettes, white and gold. 38 free locations a cross Sydney Harbour and more than 1000 accredited personnel and around 250 volunteers worked scenes to get things ready

That is the most impressive fireworks display I have ever seen. I wish I could have been there!
Great Fireworks display as always from Sydney. However, work on the musical director as well as find a theme for each year. I am certain Sydney will then return to the No1 spot for NYD display.
It’s no longer about the amount of fireworks used, it’s also about the show.
Without the mix, it tends to become boring after 5 minutes.
Sydney has one of the best fireworks in the world to welcome in the new year.
The Harbour Bridge is THE perfect spot to showcase fireworks, and it never fails every year.
But to get the best experience, you have to be there in person as the explosions of the fireworks from near and far rumble throughout your body. When the big ones explode, you can feel it in your heart.❤
